We were not impressed with this hotel in anyway, parking was some metres away and not easy to find initially. Staff were unsure of things but that may have been because of their lack of English (and my lack of French).
The room size was very small and only matched by the tiny bathroom.
Nothing could prepare guests by the size of the lift which was the smallest lift one would ever see in a hotel.
Location was reasonable but not in the bright lights of the city.
Not recommended.

Room Tip: maybe ask for upgrade

The hotel has an excellent location, 5 minutes walking from Centrat train station (Saint-Charles) and 5 minutes walking to Old Port. If you are not a finicky person or traveller and just want a clean place, for a few nights in Marseille, I do recommend it for your stay.

I paid 65 Euros my room, it is small, and shower is small, but as I am an easy going traveller, I am really satisfied. The breakfest is not included, but for 9 Euros is indeed plentyful.

Room Tip: Better not on Leon Gambetta street, noisy till 11:30 PM

Comfortable location - 7-10 mins walk from central railway station, 10-15 mins walk from port & marina. Rooms are not big, but good enough if you want just rest/sleep and go back to the city. WiFi is week in the rooms, but good in the lobby. Neighborhood is a bit creepy, but that's the price for being close to port and central station.

The staff were friendly and chatty. We were allowed to leave our luggage all day after check out.The location to St Charles train station was good.

The location, whilst good for the train and only five minutes walk to the Old Port, has much to be desired. Dirty streets with men occupying the outdoor chairs of the local cafes. The hotel is better value than those closer to the Old Port but still not perfect. The rooms and bathrooms are very small, carpets are a bit grubby in places, the shower small so that the curtain sticks to you while showering. Only one power point in the room. Only one pillow per person.

the hotel is 15 min by foot from vieux port. It's a clean, nice hotel however rooms are very small. The air conditioning is very loud, so it's impossible to turn it on for night (otherwise, it's terribly hot)... But overall, we had a good stay, a hotel to recommend.

We stayed there with two couples in April 2013. We had two rooms on floor 4 and 5 and it wasn't noisy at all. The rooms were newly renovated (not the bathrooms) and looked nice, but were pretty tiny (no problem for us). The bed was nice and clean, there was room cleaning every day also with new towels in the bathroom. The bathroom looked a little old, but still ok. Do not expect luxuary (it is only 2 stars) E.g. the bathroom door was broken in our room, which wasn't important for us as a couple.

Anyway, I think it was very good value for the price. The breakfast was nice (especially for French breakfast - you get more than just a croissant and jam, there is also cheese, eggs, juice, rolls, nutella etc). The elevator is the tiniest elevator I have ever seen and looked pretty old, but it worked fine. The A/C worked perfectly in the room and there is free WiFi.

The best is probably the location - walking distance to the train station, and also walking distance to the harbour and a lot of restaurants (not as close as the train station, but still ok).

It was perfect for our little weekend trip and I would come back if I plan to stay in Marseille again.

Room Tip: I don't know if is noisy at floor 1-3, but at floor 4 and 5 it was silent. But then you have to...

We were a group of five friends, who visited this place in January for four days. Our stay was quite relaxing and comfortable, as the place provides a wonderful accommodation in the heart of the city. From check in till check out everything went smooth. Staff looked efficient and trained. My friends liked the food and I loved that coffee served with hot snacks. Will definitely return to this place again.
