We have just returned from 4 great days in Marseille. The apartment really is as good as it looks. It's in a perfect place in the city, overlooking the square in front of the Opera House. The photos are exactly as it is (no long lenses and tricky angles). The apartment is very spacious with high ceilings, creating a light airy cool feel with lovely doors leading onto a small balcony from where you could sit and watch the world go by. It is very clean and well-appointed with everything you need to self-cater. Anik was available to provide anything else you might require. Appliances in the kitchen were sparkling and new. The location could not have been better, so close to the old town and port, as well as beautiful designer shops around the corner and lots of life to watch from the window. It's location is great for walking around the city. Markets are nearby: fruit, veggies and fish mingled together with a rich mix of people. You can easily access the subway from the train station (about 10 minutes away). Close to buses, the tram, bikes and the metro makes getting around Marseille very easy. Anik was so helpful, friendly and very welcoming. Would highly recommend Marseille especially if you stay in this apartment.
We couldn't have expected more for the apartment. It was nicely modern with vintage touches, had the amenities we needed, and was located within walking distance to many sites. Just around the corner is the harbor and some museums. The view on the Opera square was wonderful. Great neighborhood too. Anik and her son Arnaud were great to work with and each interaction was positive. I will certainly work with them again in my future visits to Marseille
