We called in on our way back to where we were staying and they were very welcoming. A beautiful evening in lovely Provençal surroundings. The meal was excellent and very reasonable. The lobster entree, Sea Bass main course and tarte au citron were divine. The patron gave very good advice on the wine. Well worth a visit for a special relaxing evening.

We were looking forward to staying in an authentic Provencal farmhouse - thick stone walls, tiled floors, small shuttered windows (but of course modern bathroom and good toiletries) We hadn't realised just how pleasant it would be to come back to after visiting some of the beautiful but crowded villages in the area.It was also good to be able to park easily. We ate well in the restaurant on our first night and didn't look any further on subsequent nights. It seems very popular so booking would be advised. We have decided that this was the best breakfast in a month of travel. The happy lady in charge does a great job making sure that everything is perfect.

We had a wonderful stay at La Ferme de la Huppe. We stayed four nights and wanted to stay more. Fabien and Daniella are really nice people. The restaurant is excellent. You can take day trips from the location and it is very comfortable being there. We highly recommend this accomodation and restaurant.

Perhaps we had too high expectation of the accommodation due to the high TA rating of La Ferme de la Huppe. We were given little attention on arriving, except for a map and booklet on the area, which proved very useful. It was not until the next morning I realised there were blankets in a box in the bottom of the wardrobe, on which we had put our luggage. The blankets would have kept me warm overnight- despite the one blanket and the hard cotton bed cover, I was so cold I resorted to putting extra clothes on me and over the bed. When we returned at the end of the day, someone must have realised and had replaced the cotton cover with a warmer quilt which was much appreciated.

On leaving we found the safe and it would have been good to have been told of it when we checked in.

The delicious breakfast was on the pool deck - in the sunshine - and this was the best part of the accommodation. The room itself was pretty basic and dark.

For my birthday, my husband had secretly arranged for flowers to be on the breakfast table- our poolside table was the only one with "Reserved". The waitress said she had brought some from her own garden as well as added some from the hotel. This was really nice of her to do - above and beyond!

This was a amazing place, we were the only people staying there for the 2 days( it was march and still very cold)

The manager was amazing , we were going to be late for check in and he stayed and waited for us and even made a reservation at a amazing restaurant close by.

We woke up the next morning to a amazing Breakfast.

I would recommend this to everyone !!

This place was recommended by my colleague who stayed there over springtime and I was glad I booked this for a 2-night stay during our trip to Provence in December.

It's not a big hotel/motel type of place but it is a nice and cozy B&B located in a very beautiful valley with vineyards around, with just a 5-min drive to Gordes town center.

We got ourselves 3 rooms and were pleased with all the rooms provided. My room La Cambra was absolutely beautiful. It's huge with a sofa-set and the bathroom was spotlessly clean and well stocked with amenities. The bed is also a king-sized and it's very comfortable. The other 2 rooms are very well-sized and comfortable with nice bathrooms too.

We were also pleasantly surprised that we were the only guests during that time and we felt like we owned the whole place! It's the low season so that's why the place was not occupied but I understand from the owner that during summertime it's usually full!

We loved the breakfast with freshly baked croissants (one of the best we have tasted during the whole trip to France), and juice was freshly squeezed as well. Breakfast is usually served at a later time at around 9am during winter. However on the day of checkout we needed to leave early at 8am and thought we may have to skip breakfast. However the owner and Carole who prepares breakfast were more than willing to prepare us the hot breakfast before we leave.

My only comments or suggestion for change is during winter my bathroom's heater is not warm enough to warm the area so it was pretty cold in the morning. The other point the wardrobe is too high for the room La Cambra and we have problems hanging our jackets in the wardrobe.

It was also a pity that the restaurant was closed during our visit as we would love to try the food at the award-winning restaurant.

Overall we were happy to have stayed here.

During our Provence-trip my boyfriend and me stayed in "la Ferme de la Huppe" for two nights, it was really sensational! The rooms are all unique and frunsihed with much love. The bath was huge and very nice, a mix between modern style and old traditional "Provence-Style". We loved it. There's a nice pool too which we didn't use because the weather was already to cold.
We had dinner there twice because it's sooooooooooo good. It's a little charming family running this hotel. The mum's in the kitchen and she's a real "food-artist". The food was delicous, very special, uncommon and presentet nicely on the plate.
We loved our stay there and would recommend it strongly to stay there.

Room Tip: We had the room "L'écurie" which probably is one of the smaller rooms in the hotel. Bu...
