We stayed for 10 days in September with family. The views from the Villa are 6 Star => mind blowing panoramic views of Villefranche, St-Jean Cap Ferrat and Beaulieu. A 10 - 15 minute walk to the heart of Beaulieu and maybe 15 - 20 to Villefranche.
The villa is on 4 levels. The top level is a master suite with small balcony (stunning view), bathroom, closet. The bed is two twins that can be pushed together to create a King.
The main level has a living room, separate sitting area, large bar and foyer - again - crazy large decking with views. Gated parking for perhaps 2 smaller cars available. There is also a smaller childrens' bedroom off the living room with 2 queen size beds, a crib and bathroom. This room in not the quality of the other 3 bedrooms - a bit crowed with the 2 queen beds and only 1 window. There are small stairways up and down from this entry level or a more convenient elevator reaching all 4 levels.
The next level down has 2 additional master suite bedrooms (decks again!) with en-suite bathrooms - jaccuzzi tub/showers. Great water pressure and easy hot/cold controls. One room has a Round King size bed, the other two twins that can function as a king. Ample closet and dresser space. All bedrooms had really good air conditioning. This level also has the Kitchen, Dining room, pantry and laundry. The Kitchen is 6 star - professional stove, grill, deep fryer, expresso machine, dishwasher, utensils, china etc. etc. etc.... Everything you need in a kitchen. Also a MASSIVE Desk - again - with tables, chairs etc.
The lower level was once an indoor pool - now a work out room with equipment. It exits to an outdoor lap pool and yard - with chairs, umbrellas, great landscaping, palm trees - you get the idea - more views.
Fifi is the housekeeper => she is amazing. Eva, the owner was helpful with restaurants and showed us all over the villa - and was available for any question via phone or text.
Beaches: Free and private - walking distance or cab. Favorite was Paloma Beach in St-Jean Cap Ferrat.
Restaurants: Favorites nearby - L'Aparte and Mekong in Villefranche or by the pool at La Reserve de Beaulieu. In Monaco - Le Vistamar at Hotel Hermitage. The Grill at Hotel du Cap Eden Roc is also stunning...
Taxis: Expensive! They make up prices as they go... Renting a car is an option, however, crazy switch backs if you use and SUV and parking is a challenge int he villages. Car Service is an option for day trips - would highly recommend Marsatis. Marcin speaks French, English and Polish fluently.
Grocery stores: Convenient store in Beaulieu with parking for 100 cars. Lots of small bakeries and patisseries in Beaulieu and Villefranche. A cook is not necessary given the grocery stores and ample restaurant options.
