We had lunch here whilst staying in Villefranch sur Mer. The restaurant is easily accessible from the large public parking lot via stairs or elevator. A spacious terrace with umbrellas for shade overlooks the bay dotted with private yachts as well as visiting cruise ships. The menu covered a good range of appetizers, fish and meat. For the first course our party of 3 tried the Parma ham and the artichoke salad, followed by main courses of the pluma de Pata Nagra (a speciality pork dish), the sole Meuniere and the entrecote de boeuf. Each dish was beautifully presented and the main courses offered tiny roasted potatoes and other vegetables, all cooked to perfection. Dessert was simply icecream, but there were serveral dishes to choose from including the well known upside down apple tart. We found the service very friendly but professional. We've eaten at a number of restaurants in the area and the prices here were in line with the others. WIne was the Bandol rose which was perfect for the meal, the company and the ambience. Highly recommended.
