“Amazing place for family holiday.”
Reviewed August 2, 2016 for a stay in July 2016

Very large and bright apartment with patio windows in all the main rooms, perfect for a family. Huge balcony spaces - perfect place for relaxing, eating etc. Near to the village. Parking near the front door. Very well equipped, like at home. We love it and we are going back.

“Ideal bolt hole for small group”
Reviewed July 25, 2014 for a stay in July 2014

I've just come back from this apartment and it served our need perfectly. The first week my wife was out there with my daughter and granddaughter, then the second week my son and I replaced my daughter who went and got married up the hill.
This was a good value for money place to stay and not a luxurious palace with a pool. But it had all we needed to serve our needs. The best point of place was how close it was to the center of the old city of Vence. The worst thing about it was how steep it was to get up there!
You can walk up the road access but its very steep, or you can climb the steps, which after a couple of days of going to get your "baton & cousins" you will realise why the French are so fit.
If there was ever a case for a "Stenna Stairlift" this this would be one.
The other plus point of this apartment is the huge balcony, the biggest in the block. There is a lift to get up to this 1st floor apatment.

Delighted that the apartment provided a suitable base for the family wedding - and that our guest walked into town daily. Of course, one doesn't have to go on foot as there are several convenient car parks in the centre of Vence - and plenty of places to visit by car along the coast, in the mountains or beyond.

Guests travelling without a car report that the buses in Vence (bus stop near end of the drive) are reliable and there are regular trains to Nice, Menton, Monaco and Italy, or, in the other direction, to Antibes, Cannes, Marseille or even the TGV to Paris, from the railway station in Cagnes-sur-Mer.

Happy holidays!
