Its the second time I stayed in Hotel MIRAMAR and always a very nice place, with stunning view and news arrangements on the terrace and pool . Good staff and always nice room, and fresh. Beautiful garden.
I will come back

It is a very nice hotel, located just a few steps away from the old town of Vence. The hotel owner was extremely helpful and gave us lots of tips what to see and where to go. We really appreciate it.
We stayed there 10 days and we enjoyed it a lot and we already miss the crossants for breakfest.

Hotel needs an update, definitely not 3 star standard, thin towels and bedding, poor breakfasts, luke warm water for tea or coffee at breakfast served from grubby thermos flasks. Plastic flowers and weird stencilled walls are definitely not "provincial" but more "hippy".
Best feature is the outdoor terrace (which needs some attention) with its stunning views, but don't bother paying extra for a room with a balcony. On-site parking and 5 mins walk to the old town is a plus. Overrated as a 3-star hotel which needs some TLC from a committed owner.

This was our second trip to the Mirimar but will be our last.
Grubby rooms, dozens of silly rules, locked doors and patch help from the front desk.

The outside area was nice enough once you found out how to get there as the main door through was locked and bolted (not sure what would happen in the case of a fire?)

We stayed for two nights at a massive 148 euros per night, breakfast not included - we found out at the end that breakfast cost 12 euros each (but this wasn't publicised anywhere, despite there being notices for everything else). The good things are the location and the view, although our balcony was off the bathroom, so not much use if you want to use the toilet. The host was completely unwelcoming and rarely around. When we arrived the main door was locked and when Daniel (I presume, he never introduced himself) did at last come to the door he didn't even say hello. No staff appear at breakfast it's just there and the 'bar' for snacks and drinks was never attended. This was particularly bad on a hot Sunday while sitting by the pool, because you couldn't buy a snack or a drink (apart from a drinks machine at 2 euros a go - but this didn't serve wine!) and we didn't want to walk into town, so did without food. Plenty of warning notices everywherer though saying you will be 'fined 10 euros' if you take drinks on to the premises that you didn't buy at the hotel - but you couldn't buy anything at the hotel!! Bedrooms very average, cheap nasty thin towels and pillows; toiletries were minimal, no bubble bath and for 148 euros a night I'd expect free water and good quality toiletries and linens. The 'murals' are laughable and look like stencils from the 1980s. The tv - again small and cheap - is right up at the ceiling, so to watch it you have to crane your neck and the people above must get the full volume through the thin walls and ceilings. There are notices all around about locking rooms for security. Although we never felt under any threat the notices made us feel concerned that we should be! Essentially, this is a house that someone lets rooms in to make money, the owner has no sense of or intention of being a host, yet is charging top class prices. Views are great, but they are free. My advice is give it a big miss if you want a view just go an find a free one.

We spent 3 nights at this hotel and really enjoyed its location, the easiness to park and the beautiful view from the yard, pool area. My only regret is that the pool was not heated but other than that the owner made himself available for his guests. The barman was very nice and attentive. It's a quiet place, wonderfully located to visit Vence and St Paul.
