A very nice place to live if you find the accommodation in Nice very expensive, and if you drive a car. Lucient and Sarah Jane are amazing couple!

Our stay with Jean-Lucien and Sarah-Jane in Vence, really made our trip truly memorable and enjoyable with a personal and authentic touch.
We stayed 3 nights in the family 'country' house in picturesque settings at the beginning of the french alps, just outside of Vence.
We felt very comfortable and welcome in the clean and simple home where we relaxed by the pool and enjoyed walks to the forrest.
Followed by 3 nights in the village where we could enjoy the spirit and sights of Vence. Located conveniently near the medieval village centre
and very close to the bus depot. Jean and Sarah were the perfect hosts and tour guides. We will definitely be back to stay :)

The hosts were amiable. The location was close to the old town. The bryle.eakfast was typical French style. Being Asians, we felt warm and welcomed.(It is not so always in many locations.)
Only one thing was not so perfect. The third single bed made noise when you lay down.
However, it is a lovely B&B.

We recently stayed with Jean-Lucien and Sarah Jane and they proved to be wonderful hosts. Each morning, as we had breakfast, they would provide us with invaluable information on where to go, what to do or where to eat and, just as important, how to get there. Travel in this area was so cheap on the buses - €1 - no matter where you went. Even getting to their lodging from Nice airport was only €1!! We had an immaculately clean room, a great wifi connection and were only a short walk to a supermarket, the town square and the medieval centre, so couldn't have asked for any better. Would have no hesitation in recommending this place to all our friends and family

My boyfriend and I really enjoyed our stay at Aux Trois Lits Qui Chantent. It is a lovely house which has a really good location in Vence, just 5 minutes' walk from the Medieval centre which was lovely!

We had a nice room on the top floor, which was simply but tastefully decorated - we were particularly impressed by the bathroom, which was very modern and had a great shower.

The breakfast was perfect for us, with a selection of fresh bread, a wide range of jams and spreads, fromage frais and good coffee. We also really enjoyed the fact that the breakfast arrangement (one big table, and one small) encourages guests to speak to each other, we met some really interesting people from all around the world.

Jean-Lucien was a great host with lots of ideas of places to visit and restaurants to go - we were particularly grateful for his recommendation that we visit Tourrettes-sur-Loup, which was the most lovely Medieval town!

I have already recommended Aux Trois Lits Qui Chantent to friends, and we would definitely stay again. Thank you Jean Lucien and Sarah Jane!

The hosts, house and location of this bed and breakfast are perfect. We stayed here for two nights in June 2011 and loved it. The room was comfortable and more than what we needed. We even had our own door to exit the house. The location of this b&b is perfect as you can walk into the old town.
We walked to the old town every night to enjoy dinner.
The hosts are very friendly and gave us wonderful tips for exploring the area. Breakfast was very nice - we enjoyed it on the balcony.
We told Sarah-Jane the coffee was exactly as we like it.
We would recommend this place to people who love to explore towns by walking and also people who like less-commercial places. It was close enough to visit St Paul de Vence, but Vence is much better!

We were welcomed warmly on our arrival and treated with great friendliness throughout our week's stay. Jean-Lucien and Sarah Jane are perfect hosts, providing delicious breakfasts, which we really enjoyed, along with the lively conversation. They are, however, tactful and never intrude on your privacy. The rooms (we were moved to a ground floor one at their suggestion) are spacious, comfortable, and simply but very tastefully furnished. Lights and showers work (which does not always happen in similar establishments) and there is plenty of storage space. The location is excellent, in a central position, within easy walking distance of the fascinating old city of Vence, and yet close to the town's bus terminus and other amenities. All in all, it was an ideal base for us. It is worth pointing out that this is not a hotel, so there is no 24-hour reception, though our hosts can always be contacted by phone. And the rooms are not serviced daily, though I am sure this would have happened if we had requested it.
The final touch came when our hosts rescued us by driving us to Nice Airport themselves, when the taxi ordered did not show up. How helpful can you get?
