The traveller photos will give you an accurate idea of this hotel: small, cosy and full of character. The rooms are indeed very small but ours (#34 on the corner) was bright, comfortable and very clean with a kind of 60s decoration. The bed was comfy and we were not troubled by outside noise with the window closed even though it was a Friday night - the interior walls however are thin and we easily heard conversations in neighbouring rooms. The bathroom is basic but had a very tiny curtained shower with that horrible liquid soap stuff.
Expect to drag your bags up one flight of narrow curved stairs to get to reception and expect a very tiny lift from there (we used the stairs after we took our bags up via the lift). Watch out for the hotel entrance which is not via the hotel bar on the ground floor corner but is right next door, right opposite the open square which has the (very tight!) parking station underneath it. Reception was exceptionally charming and helpful.
The hotel is very well located for the tourist with good wifi and the parking deal is good. This was an inexpensive hotel and good value overall.More
