We enjoyed a very agreeable 3 day stay at the Mercure Valbone at the start of our holiday. The hotel provided excellent accommodation and at great value as we booked using a 3 nights for 2 promotion that included bed and beakfast.
The dining area is very attractive and has a real feel of Provance and is very calm. Breakfast is exceptional as it the food on offer at dinner. The only downside is the rather limited menu, on the thired night we chose toeat at the Ibis next door as the two of us could not make a selection to our liking due to limited range of options. Neither of us are picky eaters. I had downloaded a Sophia Antipolis 'Plats Du Joer'app onto my Iphone some time before we made the booking. The Mercure had daily entries on the app until July, the menu on offer was one of the reasons for our selection of the hotel. For some reason the daily menu show on the app stopped changing in July, when we visited in August we were not offered the dish of the day for any of our nights.

Would we book again? Yes we would at the 3 for 2 rate, at other rates the Novotel which is only 1km away offers equally good accommodation, a more varied menu and beter value.
