We went there many times in the past and returned dining 3 days ago. The food is very family type but you can have very nice fresh fish and very good meat being served as you like.
The restaurant is pleasant and the service is good.

This place is hyped and frankly our meal, after 7 nights in St Trop, was our worst. The staff have a self importance only a true Parisian can do so they must all travel down for the summer. The main problem was our food though. Not sharp flavours redolent of Provence but heavy big portions just to fill you up. Stuffed veg e.g. tomatoes, aubergine, courgettes all stuffed with a boring lamb mix is a throw back to 1970. The high point was the sorbets de la garrigue - rosemary, thyme and lavender - superb flavours that saved the meal

Auberge des Maures is One of my favorite cost-conscious restaurants in an otherwise very expensive town lies close to one end of the all-pedestrian rue Allard. The seating capacity doubles when the roof is rolled away in good weather and tables are setup in the garden with views of the moon, stars, splashing fountains, and ornamental shrubbery. Murals of the Provence countryside highlight the stone walls. The hardworking staff in the kitchen are on display as they churn out tempting platters completely based on seasonal, all-fresh ingredients (which is most important). what ever you order they can made upon your mode. some needs spicy some need salty so its very good they can make depend on your taste and i like this. Menu items include grilled versions of many kinds of fresh fish and meat, and often taste best when preceded with starters such as panache provençale, with piled deep-fried zucchini blossoms; hearts of artichoke barigoule; and a medley of petits farcis (stuffed vegetables). so i recommended to others make a visit and enjoy your self. at the end i can say such a nice place
