I have been there two seasons already and I will be back as soon as it is possible!!!
It is a perfect place! You can walk to the centre in about 5 min or to the quiet beautiful beach that is close by! The hotel has an amazing interior that creates a warm and familiar sphere! Everything is very clean and well equipped. Even the swimming pool is heated to provide always the same temperature! Hotel staff is very friendly and happy to help you with everything you need. I also love breakfast they prepared! Fresh made juice and still warm bread from the most famous bakery in Saint Tropez...just delicious..! Definitely recommended! ☺

Room Tip: If you there...you have to take an appartment.. which is perfect!

This Saint Tropez's little hotel has a great location, from where you can go walking to the main attractions. Near Biblos (famous hotel), is just some minutes walinkg distance to the harbour, and the old city, where the museum is located behind the old fortress walls. The service is great and all the staff is very gentle and kind. We're already booked for next summer.

Only few hundred meters to 1 km for all the action, but quiet surrounding.
Easy access by car + parking (you pay for it extra).
Yes, maybe not so good for senior citizens (no elevator to the second floor).
No restaurant, but snack bar only, but all the main eating and party places are in walking distance what is a big deal considering car parking conditions in St-Tropez downtown.
Hotel staff was very helpful in making the reservations giving advice and guidance, etc.
Nothing is cheap in St-Tropez in high season (July/August). If you are on budget just do not go there. Otherwise, Le Mandala is reasonable choice for high season. For any place nearby you pay 500EUR for a night more.

We took the most expensive room. we had no internet, no tv, the stairs to get to the room are so stip and dangerous (no handrail!,) that even somebody in good physical condition would have difficulties (my wife had clutches with a broken foot) the bathroom has no space for your toohbrush or soap or whatever, the shower has no shelf or even a small place to put your soap or shampoo !!! No table in the room and just one plastic chair. when we arrived the room was freezing and the inverter that we are suppose to use took hours to get to an acceptable temperature. When i complained about the situation and the internet, tv etc they didnt care, so we left and they charged us the full 3 days of the reservation for 1350 euros!!! The manager is so arrogant that you would get mad..

Room Tip: do not go there other hotels in the area are cheaper and more professional. this one is malnaged by...

We stayed on this hotel in July 2011.
The hotel is renovated and has an interesting modern style / decor, but, at the same time, it doesn't have the structure that would justify the price.
One of our rooms, costing 590 Euros, was on the 3rd floor, with no elevator.
There is no restaurant, so you have a very limited room service. The pool is small and the rooms have no sea or any particularly beautiful view.
It's not too far from the center, if you don't mind walking up the road on your way back. Service was very, very kind and attentive.

Stayed here towards the end of June...

This is a really small hotel, but ideally situated in St. Tropez a very close walk to town, as well as the infamous Byblos Hotel (along with its restaurant "Spoon" and Nightclub "Caves Du Roy").

Compared to all 7 other hotels I stayed at during a month-long trip around Europe, I've never paid so much for so little... but that's St. Tropez for you. The layout of the rooms isn't the greatest, the toilet is essentially in a closet behind the bed and you have to walk across the entire room to get to a sink.

If you're coming to St. Tropez during the summer be sure to book early - it's amazing how many hotels I considered were sold out, even more than two months in advance. As well, a car is essential if you plan on visiting any of the beach clubs which are a short drive away (went to Club 55 and Nikki Beach).

if you are looking for a hotel within walking distance to st. tropez -perfect. the rooms , cleanliness, all fine. especially the sizes of the rooms and the bathrooms is mentionable. the pool and ambiente rather cool, but it works. in st. tropez you will be out and about anyway! enjoy ! don't miss the market - lovely stuff for relatively good money , for the rest , never go to cote d'azur if you want to safe money !!!!!!!!!!!
