We have had a very pleasant stay at this very beautiful and child-friendly hotel. Especially the lobby is beautifully decorated and simply invites you to settle yourself in one of the comfy couches near the big fireplace. The breakfast is quite extensive and we've especially enjoyed the freshly baked croissants and chocolate rolls. Our room was on the lower floor and was recently renovated. Although small, the room was clean and well decorated. The swimming pool area looks great. One negative is that the pool is not heated (24 degrees Celcius) but this was not a dealbreaker for us. We spent our evenings at the boulevard (after playing some pool in the hotel bar) so we cannot judge the hotel restaurant. It is very advisable to bring or rent a car to go to the boulevard, the golf courses or Cannes or St. Tropez.
In short: we would recommend this hotel to our friends!

The first impression of the hotel was astonishing: the beautiful hall is very inviting and very nicely decorated with fresh flowers and candles in the evening. The girl at the reception gave us a tour in the hotel at arrival so we could orientate ourselves better. Our room was on the lowest floor so we had a nice terrace with a table and chairs, the room was ok but could be better. The sauna was nice, the swimming pool a shame that it is not heated.
The restaurant had a good meal in halfboard and the service was correct.
Breakfast is very good: fresh fruits, croissants, different kinds of tea, several varieties of bread and cheese and meat, scrambled eggs and bacon, several fruit juices to pick from, yoghurt with or without fruit,...

We didn't find an even so good hotel with that location(on the golfs of Valescure, near the sea)that is so cheap.
Everybody was very kind en the restaurant is superb.
An 9,5/10.

We agree, this is a pretty hotel, but found the staff attitude a little "wanting". However, it was quiet, peaceful and it was nice to spend a day relaxing at the poolside. Difficult to get coffee or a drink through the day without feeling it was an imposition.... Food was ok in hotel restuarant and would advise ordering the pre-set menu at fixed price, as it become rather pricey to order separate dishes. Rooms were large and comfortable. Easy access to buses which stopped outside the door, into St Raphael centre, as its a 40 minute walk uphill! Well situated away from town centre so contributed to its peacefulness.

We stayed at this hotel for 7 days, it was very pretty, however we felt that the service was a bit impersonal, like when we said at the reception that the shower didnt have a curtain, the answer was more or less like "so what do you want me to do" kind of thing. the sorroundings are very beautifull, but you defenitively need your own car since the hotel is in valescure which is like 10 mins from st raphael. We will however recommend without a doubt the restaurant le siroco near the bonaparte car park. the food and the service was very nice, the waiters speak english and are very attentive and polite.

Dear Madam,

Thank you for giving us time by writing a notice on our hotel. Indeed, when you come at the San Pedro hotel, it's better come with your own car because Valescure is a neighborhood which is situated at 3.2 km from the city center so from beaches too. However you can take the bus which stops just in front of the hotel !

Hoping to see you again,

Kind regards

I stayed at this charming villa while participating in an international conference in Cannes about 35 km away. This facility is a wonderful respite from the more hectic milieu and provided an opportunity to better organize and prepare for the coming days events.

The restaurant associated with the property is excellent. The service in the restaurant and that of the hotel staff was very accommodating. There is a swimming pool which I did not use because it was still a bit cool, but the veranda and grounds are well maintained, so I found the area very well suited to alfresco dining. There are several other very good restaurants within a short distance of the hotel, also.

It is a small hotel, so it was easy to become acquainted with the staff and vice versa. I intend to stay at Le San Pedro again when I am next in the south of France.

The only drawbacks were that the hotel is located away from the coastline which can be reached in about 20 minutes by foot, about 10 minutes by bike and about 5 minutes by car; and there are no other major attractions near the hotel (although there are several world class golf courses nearby), and finally most commercial activities in the area shut down before 10 pm.

After a hectic few days in Nice, my husband and I spent three wonderful days at the San Pedro which had been recommened to us by friends. It was just what we needed, complete relaxation by the pool in a lovely hotel. On arrival we were welcomed by Caroline, it was great to receive that personal touch which unfortunately most hotels lack! We were given a tour of the Hotel and then shown to our room, which although basic was quite comfortable. However the rest of the Hotel made up for this! Beautiful pool area and restaurant overlooking the pool. Breakfast was excellent.
I would recommend half board at 18.00 euro pps, as the main menu, which we chose from the first night proved to be quite expensive. The presentation and quality of food was excellent.
So, if you are looking for a nice quiet few days in a small, friendly Hotel, this is the place to go!
St Raphael itself is a very lively harbour (a bus ride away) and there are boat trips to St Tropez from here also.
