This is a small rustic hotel, located in the middle of Saint-Paul de Vence, with a magnificent view on the mountains and valley. Very nice room ( Tulipe), comfortable. To sum it up, charming!!!
Free wifi, very good connection. Don't take huge bags because you will have to walk to get there and there isn't an elevator.

Tge village is wonderful, and the hotel is right in the middle. But we didn't find the good atmosphere you expect from a weekend in provence.
they lost the room key (keys are always accessible to anyone passing by!!), and we had to wait long before getting the room. But it could not have been a big problem if well managed.
No workaround, no information, anxiety made us very unconfortable.
Room on street are not so annoing as the guide report.
Wifi is free but we didn't receive credential .

This small family run hotel is the only one of two that lies intra muros of St Paul de Vence. The other one is a 4 or 5 Star, so if you want to stay inside the village and did not just inherite money, this is it. Staying here requires a skill for creative parking, readiness to climb a lot of stairs and perpareness to overlook some wear and tear. If you can do that this hotelis highy recommended.
The athmospher is great, the bed is good, the shower ok. The family that runs the hotel is fun and friendly and the price are fair. There is wifi and if you bring your own wine they hand you a bucket full of ice and glasses with helpful charme. We loved the view, the many nice shops and restaurants right around the door step and would returnany time.

We were a bit worried after reading the reviews of this hotel, when we turned up early may for a week end stay at hostellerie Les Remparts, but it soon turned out, that we had no reason for any worries at all. From the moment we turned up, to the moment we left, we felt welcome and we had an excellent stay in the Tulipe room with a stunishing view over the valley.
Yes the batrooms are small, but working fine, yes there are no flatscreen TV in your room, but that gives you an oppurtunity to leave the outside world for a while - and relax and enjoy your travel company and the great, great view from you room.
Okay, the breakfast isn´t really that great - but if you are having lunch or dinner at the restaurant at the hotel, you are in for a real treat.
So if you are looking for nice, cozy hotel to a reasonable price - the hostellerie Les remparts is a great choice!

Room Tip: The Tulipe room is on the 2.nd floor and gives you a great view over the valley

Stayed last weekend in the Rose room, strange that there was no one on reception to meet you on arrival. We had to call a mobile number and they hen gave us the entrance code, in the reception here was an eve lope with our room key - v much help yourself! We parked at the saint Claire car park as indicated on the welcome map sent by email on booking - we paid €25 for overnight parking! Great location with nice views in a medeival hill top town but awkward to walk to hotel with cases - approx 10 mins uphill.. Downside very quiet at night, not much to do. Ok as an over night stay but one night is enough

We enjoyed our stay here. There was a great view from the room. The rooms look pretty, but could do with some improvements. The hotel is a bit shabby and old fashioned. The bathroom was small and just about adequate - I got water all over the floor from the shower. There is no elevator. The price was reasonable compared to similar places in Provence. The breakfast was simple and cost an extra 9 Euros.

I am a huge fan of St Paul de Vence, you love it or hate it, I have been there many many times and regularly return to this little gem of a restaurant, cant vouch for the bedrooms, but take a look at some of the food..Yummy and not too expensive. Service is well French, but once I said some nice things about the location and talked in french to Lyvia , she brightened up and was really friendly and helpful. Kid friendly and also make sure you drink the Rose Bandol, its divine! Gregoire is the chef and he sent out some very well presented and tasteful food. It is a bit of a tourist trap if you get your timing wrong, but go early and have lunch and avoid the hoards and you will be pleased you did. the views from the Restaurant are truly spectacular
