Worried about all the hype for La colombe d'Or, however we were pleasantly surprised. Seated outside on thelovely terrace the food was very good and service excellent. Served raw radishes with tapenade and bread and butter after we were seated, a nice Provencal touch. Glad we had made a reservation. The helped us in English with the French menu, but everything is a la carte here so a bit pricey if you have several courses. My chicken with morel mushrooms was uttely fantastic. Same for the chocolate gateau with ice cream.
We casually walked into the main dining room which was empty to see the paintings by Miro, Picasso, etc. Amazing!
I would highly recommend.
