The food was excellent although I had the soup and It was more of a puddle rather than a bowl! My husband had the spaghetti with scallops and he said that it was amazing! It was a bit too cold to sit outside but I liked the idea that they offer blankets! The service wasn't great at all! I might use the restaurant again but won't be running back!!

Picked this off TA and were very pleased we did. Immaculately clean, un pretentious. Excellent curried chicken in pastry and fabulous Pot a feu correctly and accurately prepared, washed down with a bottle of Pinot Noir,, politely and well served. 140 euro for three so not expensive for a place like this. Has a beautiful outside seating area. It's not a swish posh place just very good brasserie style food. I can imagine it is incredibly busy in season so best to book.

I recomend goat cheese tarte, club sándwich and the entrecote. Very good service given by Layana who is able to work alone with a smile inherente face, with more than 10 tables at the same time.

St.Paul is a jewel of a medieval village on the Côte d'Azur, and there are 2 jewels here that no one should miss: 1.) the marvelling visit of world-famous Fondation Maeght, and 2.) the wonderful setting and excellent food and service at Le Tilleul. As my mother lives in St.Paul de Vence, I've been eating at Le Tilleul an insane number of times, growing into a real fan of the place. The terrasse under the huge limetree ("tilleul" in French) is a very attractive spot, both for lunch and dinner, as is the inside 'bistrot' atmosphere in soft earthy tones. Chef Stéphane Marie only uses the freshest of all in season products for his wonderful simple and tasty cuisine. The staff is friendly and takes their job very seriously, and the prices are just amazingly reasonable for such quality .... all together making this place quite unique in St.Paul! And, believe it or not, the place is open 7 days a week, throughout the year (except Xmas day I think), and serves their beautiful food all day long! What else? I told you, I AM A FAN!
