“Unremarkable hotel by the beach”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 13, 2012

I am shocked at the number of positive reviews here on this place. We stayed there for 1 night only because we wanted to see St.Tropez on our way to Nice.
This hotel is located across the road from a very quiet beach. There are a few overpriced beachside restaurants around, but not much of anything else as its pretty far from the town centre.
The hotel itself is pretty small and run by an older couple. Our room was very very basic and pretty dated in my opinion. It was fairly clean, but way overdue to be renewed.
For our purposes, this was fine, however, I would not want to be spending my vacation at this place.

This hotel is perfectly positioned opposite the beautiful beach in the south of France with a few private beach bars and restaurants opposite. Good value for money in a basic room but the bathroom was lovely. Lucky enough to get a balcony and sea view. Has a pool too. The hotel was quiet and had parking too. Really was so very pleased with this find. not forgetting the great staff too. Will defo be back!

We stayed in this family run hotel on 2 June 2011. We arrived late in the evening and did not have a reservation. When the lady at reception advised that she had one room left my heart sank as it is not usually the best room is left. When she brought us around to room number 8, we were pleasantly surprised. The room was large enough to have a double bed and 2 single beds. It had an adequately sized bathroom with shower and 2 wash hand basins.
We did not eat at the hotel but there was a long queue for breakfast so the food was probably OK. There was a nice pool with sun loungers and a table tennis table. There was free parking with a coded gate and security lighting. It is about 3km from centre ville but is just across the (busy) road from a lovely beach. We dined at a nearby beachside resturant called Mahi which was buzzing even at 11.00pm. We would have no problem staying at this hotel again if we are back in Ste. Maxime.

Very pleasant stay! This hotel is mediterranean style, with arches and blue window panels. Just what I had imagined a Mediterranean hotel would look like. It's right across from La Nartelle beach. Has a swimming pool, and a gated entrance that you need a code for after hour. It might be mistaken as a hostel, but it's not a hostel by any mean. The bathroom is full-size with a huge tub. Has lots of shelves and closet space. Has a room safe, a mini-bar, and remote-controlled AC. The hotel staff is very sweet and friendly. The only problems we have with this hotel is that the staff speaks very limited English. The transportation to downtown and St. Tropez is also limited, if you don't have a car or a moped. Taxis don't seem to come by at all, unless maybe if you call them. The bus that stops nearby is ALWAYS very very late. The food served at the hotel is below average. Very good location for just going to the nice beach across the street, since parking can be a nightmare on summer weekends.
