We came here from La Garde Freinet for our wedding anniversary and greatly enjoyed the 50 euro menu (plus cheese at 7euros). The food was excellently prepared, beautiful colours and flavours, imaginatively presented. The service was attentive but not fussy - little touches like immediately replacing a dropped napkin rather than simply picking it up. Everything was done in French but whenever we came across an unfamiliar word or phrase the waiter was able to explain in English for us. The restaurant is small - if any criticism at all it lacks atmosphere and of course it has no view - but the food soon commands all the attention. The dress code was relaxed - some people in jackets and smart dresses, others in jumpers. We thought it was good value apart from the Champagne which was alarmingly expensive by the glass! In all honesty its not the best one-star restaurant we've eaten in but we'd certainly return, perhaps to try the Chef's 'surprise' menu...Definitely worth a visit.
