This restaurant is way too low on the tripadvisor list! Price/quality definitely one of the best restaurants in town, if not the best!

For the second time in 10 days , had a nice lunch at Gruppi....the first time we enjoyed the Aioli ( a speciality in the south of France) and today we had the Risotto of Gambas and Artichokes...very satisfied with the quality of food(fresh of course) and an excellent service......would love to try more Speciality dishes during our stay in Sainte Maxime....

compliments for the chef and the whole restaurant staff!!!!!!!

We go once a year at Sainte Maxime, but we never tried this restaurant or not even noticed: maybe because it is at a higher level of price. Last night we see the blackboard with the two set menu: 27 euros for appetizer, entrèe, main course, dessert, patisserie mignon... yes we can!
The quality of food was very high: a savoury tapenade almost hand-cut, tourte with chèvre chaud in a big portion and with vegetables stewd and not boiled, magret de canard was perfect and with a rich triple garnish, and crème brulée was at its best. All typical French dishes we love and we have eaten all over France: everything was cooked very very well.
The restaurant wants to be elegant and modern; I didn't like the "Parisian" way to stick tables in rows to gain covers so you must pretend all the time not to listen to your side table, but anyway on Thursday night on low season the place was full. Service a bit slow, especially the first course: ok, food is made on the spot, but the day menu could be there waiting for us...

Offers two set menus, we tried the more expensive one (39 euros) because this was a little different than what's usual on offer at the Cote d'Azur. It was worth the money. Delicious dishes which were nicely presented. Staff are kind and attending. Restaurant is elegantly decorated.

We had an 8:30 reservation last night and at 10:30 we still had not eaten. Excuse after excuse about short staff and we left without eating our main course.Never have had this experience in a restaurant.
