We had a great short stay here near Monaco and right on the seafront with lovely views. the staff were very friendly and helpful and the hotel was newly refurbished with excellent facilities and secure parking. walking distance to some excellent restaurants such as Le petit Prince.

Highly recomend and would return.

Really enjoyable stay. Hotel room and bathroom were spacious, modern, spotless and well equipped. Plus points for kettle in the room and free mini bar with water and juice. Hotel staff exceptionally helpful and polite. Improvement suggestions are bigger bath towels; plates and napkins for express breakfast and better internet service. Poor parking facilities as limited spaces at front of hotel and lockable garage is very small.

Stayed here on a family trip. Last minute walk-in after reading Trip advisor and the current high ratings are well deserved. It is a great economical hotel, tastefully modernized and upgraded but would highly recommend a sea view with the Balcony to have a glass of wine and a small nibble. Service was exceptionally friendly and clear! If driving as we were makes a great base to head to Monaco, and Menton had the great fortune to see the citrus festival while there. Who knew you could make so many shapes out of lemons and oranges. Parking could a small challenge but highly recommended as a reasonably priced 3 star (I personally think it should be a four star!)

Room Tip: Sea view a must (with Baclonys!)

Many thanks for the kind words! As a matter of fact, we became 4* on January 17th of this year! We will still remain, I think, excellent value, and try to make things as welcoming as possible for our guests!

Regarding paking, I agree that it can be trying at times. We have a garage under the hotel (for a fee) that can take 5 cars, which is often best to reserve, as well a 3 free places in front of the hotel. The streets around all offer free parking, and I recommend looking on the street along the Cap Martin (in front of the hotel to your right) for your best chance of finding a space close by.
Thanks again, and I'm delighted you enjoyed your stay!

We travelled as 2 couples to see the French Riviera. This hotel is perfect as a camp site from which to take day trips to see Nice, Monaco, a bit of Italy (Genoa), etc. The hotel is very cozy, clean, and has superb sea views! Rooms were nice, clean, comfortable, bathrooms farily good size (for European standards). Staff was very nice. Breakfast was simple and good. We booked directly on the hotel site and got all that we expected. This beats many 4 and 5 star hotels! What a wonderful time!

Room Tip: Ask for room with nice unobstructed sea view (there are some trees in front). Walk the promenade to...

We spent 9 beautiful days and nights in this nice hotel in July this year. It is really excellent combination of “price and quality”. We had a chance to stay in 2 different rooms without and with the sea view. I would say both rooms were really nice. Of course, the terrace in a room with the sea view was the place where we spent most of the time while in the room. The hotel is recently renovated. The staff was very helpful and polite. In addition, the location of the hotel is very convenient. So, there are only “pluses” and no “minuses”… Enjoy!

Room Tip: I guess it was room 101...

My sister & I stayed in this lovely blue sea themed hotel for a week. It was ever so low key and chic. We had a beautiful view of the Mediterranean and slept to the sound of waves. I loved the modern, Jean Cocteau sensibility and the management even had a fruit basket delivered to us one night. The staff were friendly and you could have a nightcap whenever you returned. We loved the special amenities: modern bath with heated towel rack, lighted closet rod when you opened the closet, comfortable and spacious balcony with table, flat screen with BBC, WIFI,etc. The bus is across the street to Menton in case you want to check out the cathedral or Cocteau Musee. This is a relaxed, stylish, unpretentious place to stay. The French friends were visiting were most impressed and will now recommend this to visitors!

Room Tip: I would opt for the sea view/balcony without doubt-you spend time outside in this fabulous area.

Hotel Victoria is located on the first floor of a rathet ugly apartment building. Once you enter the lobby you will realize that it's been completely refurbished and that a great job was done. The lobby is not big but very nice. The good breakfats is served either in the lobby or outside. We loved the room: it was not big, but it was done from an architect that knows how to design hotel rooms. Everything was located where it should be, conveniently positioned and with a nice design. The good size bathroom was also well designed: beautiful and functional with a nice shower. Good value for money, definitely recommended.
