One of the best dinners I have ever eaten. Tastes and textures I did not know that existed! Unbelievable wine list.

Had Sunday lunch here a week ago.
had read lots of reviews in Tripadvisor so had an idea we were going to get great food and leave with a lighter wallet! Wasn't disappointed on either front.

We both had the Menu Plaisir and ordered different dishes to see the lot. Menu is available on the restaurant webpage and was indeed delightful. The service was excellent.

We had pre-ordered on the internet the Menu Plaisir (€58 each with the drinks (wine & coffee) option €12 each additional. When we were seated we were asked which champagne we wanted as an aperitif. There was a rose, one from an independent producer or the other being one of the standards. I have to admit I wasn't 100% sure it was covered in our package or not but we ordered a glass from the Independent winery - Moutard. On the bill later at €25 a glass. We were also asked which water we wanted with three options, all I can say is the one made from the snow from Norwegian mountains costs €11 a bottle.

In total we were charged €201 before tip so be prepared!

However the Hotel is magnificent, the food is delicious, the service is excellent and as a previous contributer said , it was nice to see how the other half lives! An Experience!!!

Our family tried the Discovery menu with paired wine. All the signature dishes of the chef. The wine was excellently paired with the food. The service was flawless and very attentive. We were moved from our booked table to the best table with the view over the sea, nice! Very nice setting, only wished that we could have stayed at the hotel also.

Came for Sunday lunch , €58 without wine , €70 with , we chose the one with ... Booked online , no problem , wonderful greeting , maitre d and all waiters greeted us by our name , formal but not ott . Gents wear jacket , no need for tie . The wine deal is excellent value , they keep topping you up , red or white its up to you . Crab and cauliflower taster before starters , superb . Sunday lunch menu gives you two choices for each course , incredible value compared to the a la carte . We had snails - excellent , mackerel terrine - ok . Guinea fowl for main course was excellent . Mint plate cleanser next , quite delicious . Mint and pineapple desserts were truly wonderful . The service here is best I've ever had , attentive but not too overbearing , waiters were excellent . Don't be put off coming here , there was a real mix here , one guy even had one of those ridiculous French dogs on his lap throughout the meal , another brought their cat ! An all round wonderful experience , a real treat to eat in a world renowned restaurant , bill came to €149 with a bottle of water . Have a drink in the bar afterwards , ridiculously expensive but worth every penny ....
