“Great location”
Reviewed July 26, 2016 for a stay in July 2016

Spent 10 days here during July. Apartment was clean, well equipped and in a great location with a very comfortable bed and good shower it was an ideal base to explore the local area.

“wonderful location..”
Reviewed July 3, 2016 for a stay in June 2016

My partner and i have just returned from a wonderful week at this apartment..it is in the very heart of the old city which is vibrant and charming...apartment is a good size..kitchen well equipped.high ceilings large shuttered windows..very clean and comfortable bathroom..in a fascinating ancient house ...date on the doorway 1637...it can be noisy outside..but the double glazed windows are effective once closed..and it is just a short walk to the markets shopping areas cafes and beach..so no car needed...museums and art galleries a busride away..although walking everywhere is a delight..as are the public parks and gardens around the town..do visit the pink palace on cap ferrat and the m chagall museum is a highlight...enjoy...

“Good location within Nice Old Town”
Reviewed June 27, 2016 for a stay in June 2016

Firstly, don't forget you need to pay Georgia a Services & Welcome charge on arrival (in the small print) - we forgot and found ourselves €120 lighter before we'd unpacked.
Secondly, the location of this lovely first floor apartment is both it's strongest, and weakest, point.
A very good location within Nice Old Town with lots of bars, restaurants et al within a few minutes walk (so it gets busy...). The apartment is exceptionally secure and appears to have everything that could be needed for your stay, a nice welcome pack and wi-fi (probably covered by the Services & Welcome charge). If you are looking for a peaceful break you will only get relative peace when you close the double glazed windows, it is located in the heart of a busy city after all and noise from people/moped traffic may drive you potty when the windows are open. Earplugs are recommended if you are a light sleeper. Did I mention the €120 Service charge? The 98 bus from the airport was not running when we were there (strike) and it's a nightmare getting an alternative bus so I recommend you book your transfer from the airport beforehand (a taxi will cost €38) Places to visit: recommend Menton, Monaco, Cannes, Eze and St Paul de Vence. Also, if going to Eze, get the tram (or walk) to the bus terminal at Vauban for the 82 to beat the crowds - NB ignore the bus times given in BLUE as these relate to the 112, which departs from a different stop.

“So much fun in just 6 days”
Reviewed May 29, 2016 for a stay in May 2016

We spent six wonderful days in Nice at this lovely apartment in the ancient city vieux Nice. If you are looking for a Mediterranean experience with lots of old world atmosphere and also lots to do and see, it is nearly impossible to beat vieux Nice. Les Couleurs is a very modern apartment in a very old building, typical of 18th century southern France. The location is fantastic, as it seems nearly everything is within walking distance. The atmosphere in the immediate neighborhood was at once festive and historic. Just being present in this joyous old town is enough to put a permanent smile on anyone's face, except those seeking "a nice, quiet vacation". Those folks should go elsewhere. Wish we could come back every year!

“Excellent apartment in fabulous old town Nice.”
Reviewed January 12, 2016 for a stay in January 2016

This was my 5th trip to the apartment, each time is better than the last. There seems to be constant improvements, including fresh decoration, new artwork and now a great juicer! Everything was spotlessly clean, the kitchen has all those things you need to cook meals at home should you want a break from the array of delicious eateries around and the comfort of the 5 foot bed is what you'd expect in a 5 star hotel, ( If you're with a snorer the sofa bed provides a welcome alternative to a sleepless night, and that too, is very comfortable).
There's a large screen TV , a huge selection of DVDs and books and a digital radio.
The apartment is right in the heart of old Nice and the place just buzzes. With the windows open you can enjoy the party atmosphere from the recessed window-sill and then the top notch double glazing blocks it all out as soon as they're closed.
As always, nothing was too much trouble for Georgia. She has a wealth of knowledge on just about everything you can think to ask her.
There is free Wi-Fi in the Snug and Cellar.....the pub over the road. On that note, the staff there are great. They speak English and have a good relationship with the owners so they are always happy to help you if needed.
Finally it's the little touches that make this place feel like a second home to me......beach-shoes and towels, containers for taking out a pick-nic ,snorkel and mask all left so that you can enjoy your stay to the full.
I'd recommend this place to anyone, it's perfect.........don't be fooled by the relatively modest price, I've stayed in far more expensive places that just don't compare with this apartment.

Les Couleurs was a delight as other have discovered. The apartment is spacious, well set out, had ample provisions, clean and well cared for. Its location in the old part of Nice was wonderful with lots of intriguing shops and markets, ancient buildings but close to transport and in walking distance of many attractions. Above all, Georgia was obliging and helpful, met us on arrival and responded promptly during our stay, a perfect host. If we are ever travelling to Nice again I would stay here again. Well done Georgia.
