I'm a bit of a Nice-o-holic and tend to visit 2-3 times a year. We generally visit La Favola each time we visit Nice. The reason - consistently good quality service and food at a decent price. I'm sure you can find cheaper (not by a million miles though) but as a couple, we never have any trouble getting a table if we go early and the food is always good. I don't see this restaurant as a place to spend an entire evening, simply because it is a fast pace and tables are turned around relatively quickly but if you want a hearty pasta dish and a massive dessert with a bottle of wine or a quick pizza and a soft drink, La Voglia is, in my opinion, the best on the Cours Seleya for what it does. As an example, we recently had a 2 pizzas and 2 soft drinks and it came to €33 which is pretty good for the quality. If you don't want pizza I can thoroughly recommend the pasta (pick anything) but we're not the best versed on the dessert as we only have the chocolate mouse (which is pretty good but you had better be hungry!)

Food is good great. Portions are big, if too big then don't eat it all - simple. Wine is cheap (19 euros for rosé) and good, service quick and good old town location. When you're done they'll call you a taxi to pick you up from outside. Great find and book a table if you can.

This is in old town and a but touristy but food was good and large portions and reasonably price. Great for people watching. Wait service is just ok as some others had mentioned but would go back.

Don't get me wrong this place is good, large servings, plenty of wait staff, tasty food and very busy but I would not say the food was great, cafe style food as opposed to classic restaurant style. Antipasti was delicious, as was the spaghetti seafood that is served in a massive bowl.

seems to be the place to go in Nice, we were here for a few days, ate here once, but saw queues for it every night. we were kept waiting for some time for our meal, however the waiter appologised and gave us a couple of small snacks to keep us going, so made it bearable. the food was worth waiting for.
