This hotel has a great location, a short walk from Nice airport. Its just a short bus journey from city centre and its also possible to walk to sea front from hotel. Rooms are basic, but adequate and clean and good value for the price.

This is the most basic hotel I have ever seen so far. My room included a double bed with two pillows, four coat-hangers on a metal bar, a 50 x 100 cm wall table, a television with its remote control and a mirror. Nothing else. No chairs, only a stool. No bedside tables or lamps, only a small shelf and built-in lights in the rack of the bed. Not even a phone - I wonder how you could contact the front desk just in case you need to. The room and the bathroom were however clean and tidy and minimum toiletries were in place. In the end, this is all what you would expect from a budget hotel. The only pluses are free WiFi, which works sufficiently well, and a decent noise insulation - quite important being so close to the airport.

I was alone, without luggage, needed an overnight stay following an evening arrival, and had an early morning start up. I was pleased with the accommodation despite of its extreme simplicity because the hotel fit to the above needs. However I would not recommend it for any other type of stay because it does not offer anything else. It is an airport hotel, hence far away from the city center, has no public common areas and no restaurant. The only available alternatives for food are the Novotel or Hotel Companile, both located next door. Service was passible but anonymous, and most people at the front desk speak only French.

The hotel is located a few hundred meters away from Terminal 1 and can be easìly reached with a 10-minutes walk. However, please be aware of the following:
- the area around the hotel is seedy at night;
- the hotel does not provide shuttle service. If you are traveling with a lot of luggage you might better treat yourself to a different option.

OK budget hotel on the outskirts of nice. Rooms are OK. Wifi works OK. Breakfast was OK. Parking not so great - bike parking looks a bit dodgy but everything was there the next morning. OK for a night if you're passing through.

I stayed here as part of a business trip last week and only for one night (thank god!).
Rude receptionists on arrival and didn't really improve during my stay. The rooms themselves are reminiscent of an episode of Porridge or Prisoner Cell Block H - no joke - this is being nice! Yes you get what you pay for but equally I don't expect to check into a HOTEL and make my own bunk bed up - yes it seriously hadn't been made up! I was left with a blanket and sheet and a ladder - to get on with it myself.... Now I know I sound a little picky, but I've stayed in hostels, which are cheaper and have not required the DIY bed making! As I was too tired to even attempt this bunk bed challenge I asked reception if I could have a duvet, which was insitu on the double bed already made up in the room - note to the wise, they advertise the rooms suitable for 3 persons - this would only be possible if you were all members of the 'Borrowers'.
The rude receptionist advised (without lookikng) that there were no spare duvets - thankfully my French being fairly good I was able to argue sufficiently to receive a duvet...
The receptionists did not speak English so good luck to those who stay who are not fluent enough to get by!
The rooms are so basic - if you are looking for life's comforts stay somewhere else. There were only 2 plug sockets - as I was sharing a room with a colleague we were able to co-ordinate our needs, however only 2 sockets in different areas of the room and nowhere near the mirror (ladies who require straighteners) it's pretty poor. The room has no facilities whatsoever - no hairdryer, no tea/coffee facilities.... only a full length mirror.
The rooms are dated, the bathroom small and only with one towel each makes staying here an endurance test as opposed to a comfortable night's stay - as the title suggests - you would literally only be staying here because you have an early flight the next day.
Breakfast is not quite as advertised in the hotel - the posters make it look almost edible - it's only 5.95 euros for a reason - it is very poor - enough sliced bread to sink a battle ship - 2 choices of cereal from a dispenser which looks as if it was cleaned when the hotel was originally opened, the most concentrated of juices and a seating area directly from a sports centre - imagine the Brittas Empire and you are half way there....
Also word to the wise - The hotel is en-route for most ladies of the night off on their way to work... Enjoy!

Room Tip: Book early and check-in next door to the Novatel!

I realise that this is a Budget hotel and you pay for what you get!! we stayed for one night, the room was clean, the bathroom was okay, I wasn't keen on the shower curtain and we had to hold the shower head to shower but it wasn't worth complaining about for one night. There isn't a lot around the hotel unless there is an event at the Arenas then I presume restaurants open up. As the hotel doesn't have a restaurant we ended up going to Hotel Campanile for our evening meal which was quite good. We had breakfast at the Ibis and it was better than I thought it would be. Please note the free bus to the airport is a few mins walk away from the hotel but they give you a map on how to find it, other hotels have their own transport.

Nothing to complaint about. Small rooms, still worth its price. Very near the airport, still no noise from planes. Passage to the hotel from the airport is under the motorway and a bit hard to find. The aircondition was noisy.
