We had asked our apartment manager for a recommendation in the Old Town and she had proposed this restaurant and its sister, bistro d'antoine. Since bistro d'antoine was solidly booked for the week of our trip, we managed to get a booking here. We arrived to a very warm welcome and had a drink while perusing the menu on the board which was explained to us in great detail. We ordered moules as starters and then duck and steaks (Bavette), all of which were full of taste and served with a jus and delicious vegetables. To finish, we had chocolate mousse with raspberries and a type of roasted apple crumble with chestnut mousse. Reportedly, this restaurant does not use freezers and buys fresh food from the market daily, hence the menu changes daily. Can thoroughly recommend.
