The house is hidden away on a small street near the main flower market and below the castle. The best part was the hospitality and kindness extended to me, being invited in to have breakfast on the day I checked in, even before I settled in with this bag and all. On the day I checked out, I was able to leave my bag and return in the afternoon before leaving for the airport. The view from the terrace just off the breakfast/lounge room is directly across from the waterfront and affords views rivalling those of the most expensive waterfront hotels in Nice. The house is incredibly clean and welcoming, with votive candles lit in the hallways at night and lovely East Asian art calming the soul as soon as you enter. The double glazing made the shared dorm room very quiet from the outside noises, and the room was a decent size for 4 people to share, with space to lock away personal items. And I couldn't believe how comfortable the bed was! I was torn between sleeping in and getting up to go see the fish market. Staying here made my first visit to Nice very special indeed. Thanks so much!
