“A must visit”
Reviewed April 10, 2014 via mobile

This place is a must visit. Has a wide collection of tropical plants and gardens. Plent of animals yet in healthy and safe confined environment.

Children of all ages will enjoy given if they have interest in some species and value this kind of leisure.

This a big park. . I recommend to bring a blanket and some food, drinks for picnic as there are no restaurants or cafe inside. This park is next to industrial estate where plenty of cafes and restaurants around.

“Good facilities, not the easiest to access and terrible fumes from the airport.”
Reviewed March 30, 2014

The park itself was a great day out during our stay in Nice, situated on the opposite side of the main boulevard from the airport it is a bus-ride/taxi ride to get there from Nice Central. The park has lots to do and see and offered us 'as oasis' away from the hustle and bustle of the market/new town/ old town. My couple of gripes would be trying to find the entrance (it is big enough) once dropped off by the bus, the food inside the park is very basic and not too appetising and the constant smell of fumes from the taxing aircraft probably didn't do our lungs much good. The place was empty on our visit (March) but I would imagine it gets very busy during the summer months.
Good vale for money though.

“Awesome”
Reviewed March 28, 2014

The park right in the heart of Nice is awesome. The kids can play and you can just stroll around. We loved it and would hope for more of these parks in other cities.
It's nice that they have park guards and close the parts off at night that it can't get destroyed.

“Go for the glasshouses! Oh, and for small children.”
Reviewed January 1, 2014

We wanted an easy day after a long day trip to Genoa the day before. Bus to Arenas and walk around the fence to the entrance. Pleasant gardens. One coffee shop, that does do hot meals, panini and crepes. The gardens are varied with fountains, veggie gardens, children's area, aquarium and aviary etc etc. it is an interesting walk around.

I really enjoyed the glass houses. They do not look very large from the outside, but have several areas with different hot house planting. Few orchids, but you could see there would be at another time of year.

Definitely worth a trip.

“Good place to spend a sunny day”
Reviewed December 5, 2013 via mobile

It's not a very large park but it's a good place to bring young children to burn energy. There were ducks to feed, some animals to see, a little cafe to get food and a playground:) everything that one needs when one has 3 kids.
