Description: A restaurant specializing in seafood and fish, established since 1973 situated on the pedestrian zone at a couple steps from Place Massena. The establishment is particularly renowned for its quality and freshness of its products, its cuisine and service. You will discover the pleasures in the splendor of our place. Come and taste a gastronomic Mediterranean cuisine. Refined dishes delicately presented that reflect our savoir-faire. Le Boccaccio, a true institution, enjoys a terrace and numerous private dining rooms, however, one must enter to discover the warm and elegant ambiance.

“Great fish restaurant”
Reviewed October 29, 2012

Surprisingly we did not find many fish places in Nice. But this one is very good ,part of a chain of four restaurants, the others with an Italian slant,The fruit de mer was exceptional another time we had the seafood paella which was very good, not cheap but good value, the wine list is reasonable, and the service is professional

“Seafood paella simply amazing”
Reviewed October 27, 2012 via mobile

We were recommended this restaurant and totally surprised by the quality of the meals. We mostly had seafood, it was fresh, and full of flavor, good location close to many hotels. Staff very pleasant. The seafood paella was outstanding.

“Excellent seafood restaurant”
Reviewed October 25, 2012

We were made most welcome at this very popular venue. What appears to be a small pavement restaurant opens up into a smart restaurant on several levels with impressive nautical decor. The staff were attentive and the food was superb. Fresh oysters, whelks, winkles, clams, mussels, crevettes - all were delicious and beautifully presented on platter of ice.

“Seafood, and then more seafood”
Reviewed October 21, 2012

Perfectly situated on the main thoroughfare, Boccaccio is a solid choice for the classics. We got the last table outside, perfect for the hypnotic art of people-watching. We ordered the "tower of seafood" - three levels of fresh seafood - clams, oysters, shrimp, languostines, mussels, and the most amazing and surprising whelks! So much food, but all so yummy. We also got the grilled squid and endives, also fresh and well-prepared. We enjoyed ourselves. The interior is very posh, going with a rich, nautical theme.

“Restaurant Boccaccio”
Reviewed October 18, 2012

The people that wrote the previous revues must not have been at Boccaccio, restaurant was very clean, staff very nice and the food to die for.
Had some of the best muscles we ever had, and a lot of them, not a dozen like in the states but probably 510 dozens, and platter of cold fish, even though pricey, was to die for, from oysters, clams and mussels to credettes, langostino, sea snails and more
