We stayed for 2 nights. Rooms were outdated rooms that had ants everywhere. MY partner ended up with some sort of weird bites the next day - not bed bugs but some sort of bite. Could use an upgrade but loved the massive bathroom. If you get this for less than $50 a night it is worth it otherwise I wouldn't stay here. Good location in the heart of Nice.

Hotel Busby is an old school hotel in the heart of Nice with about a 4 block walk to the beach. The rooms were nothing special to note. Each room had a different set up. Our room had two twin beds and a bunk bed, while our friends' room had 3 separate twin beds and a nice little balcony. The bathrooms were large for European hotels, so that was a plus. Everything was semi-clean, but not immaculate. The hotel staff was not very friendly, especially the one stern guy who runs the front desk. Also, they do not trust their customers and make you check your key in with front desk every time you leave the building (they put a giant ball key chain on purpose). I would stay here again for the price, but don't go out of your way to come here. It was nothing special

Located in city center, walking distance to the waterfront. Hotel is dated, not enought power points in the room. Heater doesn't work and housekeeping changes our bedsheets and towels but never clear the bin and there is only 1 so it overflows. About 5-7 mins walk to a supermarket but realized there is a smaller one nearer which the hotel staff did not mention. The smaller one is enough for us as we only want to stock up water. 1 of the hotel staff - a guy is super informative, helpful and friendly. Was there during the New Year's Eve and was very disturbed by partygoers on the streets shouting till late.

Stayed 2 nights as part of an EF tour with my school. Nice location, horrendous hotel. Bathroom stank terribly, toilet stopped flushing after about 3 uses, room smelled of mould, found bugs and bug eggs on the walls. Left two days later covered in spider bites. Windows, sills, walls, everything seemed covered in a layer of dust. My sheets were covered in black hair and weird stains, some looked like old blood. Removed the sheets and asked reception to send someone to change them. When I returned, the same sheets had been put back on the bed. There was food on the carpet under and beside the beds when we arrived which was never cleaned, staff was downright rude. Breakfast was very basic, coffee, croissants and cold cereal. Internet did not work for devices with ios7, which we were not informed of until after we paid. Rooms were extremely loud, could hear all noises from the street. If you don't mind giving up cleanliness and peace of mind for location, this is the place for you.

Stayed here as part of our European Cavalcade Tour for 2 nights. Great location and within walking distance to beach. Rooms were old. Bed spread, curtains, and window shutters were dirty. Mosquitoes in abundance. Rooms smelled of Grandma's house, desperately needed airing. Free WiFi normally available but on arrival, they were experiencing 'technical issues with router waiting to be fixed'. This did not resolve during our stay. Included breakfast forgettable. No tea or coffee making facilities in room, but staff able to provide hot water when requested. Service was average. Recommend this hotel only for its location.

Stayed for four nights recently as part of a tour group. The location of the hotel is great, close to the beach, shops and restaurants. The rooms are very outdated and have a smell of mould. The rooms were clean, just dull. Breakfast is very basic, coffee, croissant, cold meats and cereal. The reception staff were at times difficult. The hotel has a sitting room that can only be used at their convenient times...the small dingy bar area has a coffee machine but when family members of ours came to see us from afar we were not able to offer them a coffee or drink because refused. We had to go elsewhere. On a whole if you're looking for a place to just sleep it does the job!

This hotel's best feature is its location. Within a few blocks, there were tons of restaurants and shops. I was able to walk to the beach and to the nightlife too! The hotel was clean but was very old fashioned. The key they give you for the room is huge and heavy, and you have to give it to them every time you leave and pick it up on your way back in... not so convenient. The wifi is not free and the breakfast is nothing to speak of (croissant and coffee).
