“Clean and just a five minutes walk from Terminal 1”
Reviewed September 3, 2012

We stayed at this hotel overnight because we had an early flight the next day. The first impression of service was positive as when we called the shuttle bus to pick us up from terminal 2, it arrived in less than the ten minutes we were promised and the driver was very friendly and polite.

We literally spent eight hours at the hotel, and didn't have any meals, not even breakfast so we can't comment on the food quality. The room we had booked was a superior room, it was of average size, clean, with comfortable bed, air conditioned, a small mini bar and also offered free wifi.

The hotel is just five minutes walking distance from Terminal 1, which was very convenient for catching an early flight.

We stayed here recently and the hotel was fairly nice.

The room was quite large, clean and well decorated.

Parking at the hotel was free which was a bonus and easy to find a space.

We didn't take dinner at the hotel but we did have breakfast (which was included in the price).

Some of our friends stayed in a nearby hotel which turned out to be horrendous in comparison.

I'd have no hesitation in staying in this hotel again.

We chose this hotel as it was close to the airport and we arrieved late at night, also because we were only in Nice for 2 nights and everything else seemed super expensive (at least 250-300$ a night..)

The staff is ok. They were overly nice or helpfull (they told us it was a 15-20min walk to the beach, it took us 1h just to get to the very edge of the beach and then we had to turn around..) but they are not bad either. Also, at our arrival we called the airport for the Free shuttle to pick us up, we waited around 20 minutes for the shuttle to come. When it actually arrived, it picked up other passangers who had just arrived and who hadn't called for the shuttle and even tho we told them that we were there first and had specifically called for the shuttle, they told us they didn't have space for us in the shuttle and that they would leave without us and come pick us back up in another 15-20 minutes...

The room itself is also... ok. Cleanliness was average, the room was pretty small and the "cot" or 2nd bed was not very comfortable. It was okay for 2 nights and it worked since there was NOTHING else at this price point but don't know if I would recommend or actually go back.

We arrived late at night with two small children. The hotel reception were lovely and gave 'gifts' to the children. The room was large, clean and nicely decorated. Everything was in full working order, and we all slept well.

The only downside for me was that the pillows weren't the best and there were no prices on the breakfast menu!

Stayed there for three nights at the end of our honeymoon. Room was big, staff nice and spoke good English. Easy access to bus to get downtown to the beaches and the train station to hit up Monaco. Price was great compared to other hotels in Nice, would stay again.

Biggest Pro is that it's only a short walk from Terminal 1 at NCE. If you're staying there with a car however be prepared to cross your fingers every time you drive back to it. The underground hotel parking has a shortage of spaces compared to the hotel size and is very, very cramped with narrow spaces (take the full insurance on that rental car this time, really), there are paid parking facilities not too far off from the hotel but not ideal. Rooms are ok but for the price I cannot call it good value for money. If in need of a place to sleep in order to walk into the departure terminal early the next morning I might consider staying again, I'll probably pass on all other scenarios. If you're a person who likes to take quiet evening walks, or are planning a family holiday and do not want to explain certain things yet to minors, just as an FYI the street on which the hotel is situated (parallel to the Promenade des Anglais) turns into the pick-up area for 'ladies of negotiable affection' after dark.

Dear guest,

First of all, thank you for taking time to write to us.

For your information, one parking is under the hotel (30 places) and the other one is behind it (300 places). There is thus enough place for everybody. Both are in the same price.

As for the "outside phenomenon", independant of our will, we watch with a security guard that the situation improves, and participate actively in the meetings of the district.

We will be pleased to welcome you again.
