Really beautiful especially the gardens and the cemeteries are well worth a visit, great views!

Beware of a man sitting in a wheelchair right outside the monastery begging for money we saw him chatting to a young boy in his early 20s...if that...shady looking character, who we later found out was a pickpocket, whilst my wife and I were sitting on a bench in the olive groves we noticed the boy walking strangely and looking at people's bags as he walked by & where unfortunately people were leaving bags etc unattended and he walked straight over to someone's bag which they'd left on a bench.....only when I started yelling he stopped and scarpered.... attempted to mention it to the museum staff & they weren't bothered so please please if you don't want to have a lovely day out don't leave your bags or pushchairs unattended!!!!!!!!

Lovely church and gardens for some time away from the busy city. The cool church building allows for some quite contemplation and the gardens are well tended and neat, and offer great views in all directions. Too far to walk from Old Nice in the summer hear, so take the car or the bus. No entry fee. The postcards are for sale on the "honour system".

Good for a short walk around; the grounds are well kept and full of colourful flowers and lime trees. The view over the garden walls is lovely with several benches in the shade of the trees to sit and watch the world go by.

The Cimiez Convent was build in the 9th century by Bénedictin's monks- including the Church of Our Lady built in the xv century-and also the Franciscan's Muséum- The cloister is beautiful , every summer inside the cloister many classical music are held - The garden of the Convent is superb, the rose garden and beautiful and well kept flowers- the View is great- On the Plaza of the convent you will see a marble cross dating of 1477-
Cimiez is one of the most beautiful part of Nice..on the Hill - Don't miss it-
