Me and Becky went on an hour trip round the nearby bays and it was a great way to kill some time. The skipper seemed knowledgeable however could be scripted and the glorious sunshine was the icing on the cake. The boat was clean and there were refreshments if you wanted them. Worth a trip for sure

We enjoyed the cruise, as it was the first thing we did when we arrived to Nice. We got a seat in the back, which i thought we would miss out by not being on top, but instead it was perfect because we had the best views and we were shielded from the wind. The commentary was by a guide who talked at the speed of light. He spoke in French, then immediately in English, but the speed was so fast, we were unable to pick out the details in what he was explaining. I caught a few things here and there, and when I was able to understand him, the sound of the boat motor would overcome his microphone and we couldn't hear. So, we just enjoyed the views. He had loads to say, I was very impressed with what I could pick up here and there. Overall I would recommend this cruise, because you can see Nice from the water and it is lovely.

Beautiful views, if you don’t speak French, it is hard to understand in English. Very thick accent, hard to hear outside. Would be better maybe with headphones?

The cruise was nice but with a large number of seats inside please show up early if you want the upper deck. We were in the back of the boat and it was so loud we could not hear the commentary. It was wonderful that they provided commentary in French and English but with the same person speaking with a French accent it was difficult to tell the transition from French to English, a different voice would have provided more clarity.

We are a family of 3 including a toddler.
They only go on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
First we reserved tickets for Tuesday trip (paid 10% upfront, rest to be paid at disbarkment) but the boat cancelled due to weather. Then we rearrange our whole trip so that we could make the trip on Thursday. For Thursday, they told us this time we had to pay the whole fare up front at the port. So we made it over there and bought tickets. They never said the tickets were non-refundable. In the morning, our toddler was sick. So we called at 8am (they open at 8 in the morning) to ask for cancellation. They said tickets were non-refundable. So we are out 130 euros.

If you are travelling with young children, stay away from places like Trans Cote D'Azur. In case you really want to go to St. Tropez from Nice, driving is a better option for families with young children because a) most likely you have already rented a car, b) you want to travel with flexibility, and c) you get to see more of St. Tropez with a car than by walking/taxi.

I guess Trans Cote D'Azur does not have any competitions, so they do not need to have good customer service. So they always keep the option to cancel on you due to weather or whatever excuses they come up with, but you do not get any refund if you cannot travel due to sickness.

We took what was described as a cruise around the coast and nearby bays. We’ve done these sort of trips in other countries so was expecting a pleasant experience. Unfortunately we were disappointed. The boat sped out of the port...there may of been a good reason for this but the commentary sound was very poor and the guide switched so quickly from French to English that it took a few seconds to catch that he was speaking a language we understood,by which time we had no idea of the start of the sentence so hadn’t a clue what he was talking about. If the boat had gone at a slower pace we might of just enjoyed looking around despite the lack of information. We felt it was over priced and not good value.
