We dined at L'Autre Instant restaurant - Apero on a Sunday evening, many other restaurants closed. The decor is modern, the service excellent and attentive, the menu was also available in English. Good selection on the menu. The food was delivered in good time, very well presented, tasty and great value for money.

We read some very useful travel guides, given to us the previous evening when we dined in 26 Cours Saleya, and found this restaurant simply because it was very close to our hotel and my feet were very sore! What a find! A very intimate place, with a modern interior and a seasonal menu that would give any top class establishment a run for their money. We shared a started of snails - these came on a peice of black slate, on a wooden skewer, wraped in puff pastry and drizzled with a garlic sauce. Amazing! The mushroom risotto I had was wonderful and mu husband had the duck breast served on potatoes with salad, carrots and cougettes in a basil olive oil - he said this was a revelation. The service was wonderful and they didn't charge for bread or table water. We also recieved a complimentary fruit juice shot, with our bill - this was brought to us in a small, wooden box, artisically decorated - a lovely touch!

Went as a group of 4 on Easter Sunday evening. One of the few restaurants open at this time. We were shown to the upstairs area, up a narrow circular stairway. It quickly became very hot up there from the heat rising.
Menu is written on a blackboard, usually a good indicator, as opposed to a book full of laminated pages which imply that nothing is ever fresh.
However, in this instance, it made no difference.
I had the goats cheese starter - which consisted of a large piece of goats cheese and not much else. Far too heavy. No actual cooking seemed to have taken place.
The main was advertised as Penne with foie gras and magret de canard. What arrived was a plate of store-bought pasta, with 3 microscopically thin slices of fried duck breast, carbonised to near extinction, and I assume the foie gras had been melted through the pasta although it was difficult to tell as the dish tasted of precisely nothing. Basically a plate of noodles. Student-style cooking.
The girl serving us was indifferent and seemed rather bored. Certainly not particularly charming or welcoming.
The worst restaurant on this particular 5 day trip.

Nothing too fancy, but very tasty. We tried excellent salmon and duck appetizers,
and shrimp and lamb as the main meals.Everything was great.
Nice atmosphere and very friendly service.
In addition, we got a great discount deal on lafourchette,
