In a neighborhood teeming with very good restaurants, these folks have staked their own unique claim. The ambiance, art work and comfortable chairs put you in the mood for something creative. The wait staff are genuinely welcoming, knowledgeable and enthusiastic. They should be! As a wine bar, they have an impressive selection of interesting and affordable selections. The tapas and general menu demonstrate a surprising openness to quality ingredients from Spain and Italy as well as France's best.
The panache of fresh fish and vegetables and rack of lamb were both deftly and attractively cooked and displayed. Desserts were equally worthy (plum tart and chocolate mousse sampled).
The prices are fair for the high standards of quality. There is some outdoor sitting available, probably marred by smokers. Indoors is mellow and comfortable. Lots of tempting choices. We will be back to try more.,
