In a neighborhood teeming with very good restaurants, these folks have staked their own unique claim. The ambiance, art work and comfortable chairs put you in the mood for something creative. The wait staff are genuinely welcoming, knowledgeable and enthusiastic. They should be! As a wine bar, they have an impressive selection of interesting and affordable selections. The tapas and general menu demonstrate a surprising openness to quality ingredients from Spain and Italy as well as France's best.

The panache of fresh fish and vegetables and rack of lamb were both deftly and attractively cooked and displayed. Desserts were equally worthy (plum tart and chocolate mousse sampled).

The prices are fair for the high standards of quality. There is some outdoor sitting available, probably marred by smokers. Indoors is mellow and comfortable. Lots of tempting choices. We will be back to try more.,

We found this place around the corner from our hotel one night when we didn't feel like walking too far. The place next door was a Michelin rated restaurant and looked incredibly expensive and snooty, so we went here instead. It's very simple, very nice, quite elegant and much better priced, we thought. Their specialty is, of course, wine and our waiter was very nice and offered samples of various wines before we selected ours for the evening. Their food specialty is local and fresh, so whatever is in season. It was quite tasty, very nicely prepared, not too rich, which was great. Saw pictures in the bathroom (a bit of an odd place to display, but oh well) of small, intimate concerts that must be held there sometimes.

Small restaurant, as so many in the region are, very nice for a wonderful, relaxing, enjoyable dinner with nice fresh, not too fancy, but fancy enough food.

Eating well while traveling is a must have for us and Le Vingt 4 did not disappoint. It's friendly atmosphere is an added plus to the finely prepared dishes, excellent and well priced wines by the glass and bottle. Michelle and Eric welcome their guests warmly and are truly interested in chatting with you in a friendly but non-intrusive manner. Eric has a passion for wine that he is happy to share with his customers and not to be missed are the excellent suggestions on the board such as a glass of vintage champagne for E11! We returned twice and each dining experience was superb.

Visited on TripAdvisor recommendation. This is a terrific place. Small, local, friendly and great food. Sat inside as the ambience was better. Lovely Maitre who helped us select food and wine. I had snails as a starter - perfect. My wife had burrita - equally perfect. We both had the cod main. It actually tasted of the sea.
But what made a perfect evening was being invited by Eric, the owner's husband, to join him and some friends for drinks. A great evening became a perfect evening. What a place. Just go.

Thanks to my wife we visited this little gem of a wine bar. The welcome from Michelle and Eric the owners was beyond expectations. The staff were all bilingual and enthusiastic to educate us on their dishes. We started with Brie cheese which they had added truffles to. Eric came to out table to offer us free rose champagne explaining how to obtain more from the taste and apologizing for imposing. His knowledge and advice was valuable and made a simple starter delicious. We then ordered their chicken hamburgers. This frankly was no Normal hamburger. The flavor was amazing and original. Eric came to our table to proudly offer tastes of his wines to ensure we knew the choice that would please us. The deserts finished a perfect meal. I wish to thanks la fourchette for its honest appraisal otherwise we would not have known this restaurant and we are looking forward to returning one day. The prices are reasonable and on top we learned the chef worked previously at the Eden Rock. Hardly surprising the quality of produce and flavours. Thanks for a superb evening.
