We stayed for 4 nights in July. The hotel room was clean, well maintained with good and simple to adjust air conditioning. The room had a balcony with table and chairs. The nearest equivalent in the UK is a good Premier Inn. You can either have room only at about €75 or B&B for €83 per room for 2, the latter option provides good value, for the breakfast is a buffet with all the usual continental breakfast items. The staff are helpful and pleasant. The hotel is in an outer district of Nice, so if you want to be in the thick of the action then this is not the hotel for you. However it is just a 5 minutes walk from tram stop Virgile Barel and the trams are very regular, during the day every 4/5 minutes and in the evening every 15/20 minutes, it takes approx 15 minutes on the tram to the city centre. If coming from the airport take the bus no 98 to Cathedral Vieux Vielle interchange with tram and then tram to hotel. If you are likely to use the tram/buses more than 10 journeys then suggest buy a 7 day ticket for €15. Airport bus (98) is not covered by 7 day ticket and is extra at €6.
If you are arriving by car then the hotel has a garage at a reasonable rate.
The only downside with the hotel is that it is by a busy small roundabout so it can be noisy in the bedroom.

If you are looking a hotel where you want to sleep well and have a good shower, then, this is a good hotel. The room is new and has a good space, specially for family. However, it's now well located, if you wanna go fast to the beach or to the Nice's night life. For us, was good because we could move faster to other places such as Monaco, etc.

This is a great little hotel which would suit anyone, but if like us you are wanting someone secure to park your car and then forget about it,then this is the place. Our triple room was extremely spacious with a large bathroom and balcony, which was very clean and brightly decorated. Beds were comfy, air con worked well and parking was 8 euros per day, which was the cheapest by a long way when I was looking at options.
As mentioned previously, the tram is just a few mins walk away and there is a supermarket and bakery really close by as well. Nice is a great city and is also the perfect base to explore Cannes and Monaco, which were 20-30mins by train. We really liked this hotel and didn't mind being out of the city a bit.
One thing to mention is to be very aware of pickpockets on the trams, especially as they get very crammed and make it really easy for them. My Dad was pickpocketed twice, but luckily he only had a notebook in the pocket they got into and they didn't value that at all and just dumped it on the floor - which is how we discovered it happened the first time. The second time was only a bit later, and he was more aware but had to move his hand from his pockets to hold on to the rail and then they struck again! They only got the zip open before he noticed and swiped their hand away. It was a group of young girls that were doing it and their distraction technique was to make a fuss about people pushing.

Don't be put off that it's a two star. I have just stayed there for three nights while attending the Monaco F1 Grand Prix. The rooms are spacious, very clean and modern. The breakfast is excellent and very good value. Cannot fault this and way above a two star standard. There is a tram stop less than 3 mins walk away, and if you want to go to Monaco you don't have to go into twin as there is a station 10 minutes flat walk away. There was no que for a train for the GP as there was in town. There are no restaurants near, but we took the tram into town and there is one every 10/15 mins in the day and costs only 1.5 euro...if I come to Nice again, I would definitely use this hotel. Staff speak good English on reception, so for us who are not good at French, there is no problem. Brilliant.

I stayed here in the last week of March and couldn't have asked for a better stay.
The hotel is a 15 minute tram ride away from Nice town centre but the trams are every 4 - 10 minutes. Local shops - supermarket and pharmacy.
Lovely modern hotel with spacious rooms, I had a double room on the fourth floor. The bed was very comfy and the bathroom was spacious and clean. The room had a balcony with views of Nice area. My room faced the main road but couldn't hear anything at night and had a lovely nights sleep. Didn't use the restaurant as had breakfast in central Nice.
Staff had limited English but made a real effort to be friendly and speak in broken English. I would definitely stay here again and would recommend to others

The hotel is a distance away from the town center, but it's right off the Virgil Barel light rail stop, so not too hard to find if you prefer using public transport. If you're driving, they have secure parking for a nominal fee (under €7 I think).

The hotel is modern, clean and functional. The front door is buzzer controlled by the front desk. The reception looks like nothing though, so you're not going to have place to lounge around in a lobby, if you like doing that. The front desk folks are quite helpful though, and can or make a reasonable effort to communicate in English.

The room was large. We were three of us, two on a double bed and I took the single. Comfortable, clean and roomy. Bathroom was clean, but no shower curtain. There is also a nice little balcony with seating (and an ashtray - didn't make much of a difference to my life but thank you anyway) and a nice view of some hills.

Get your free wifi password from the front desk, it works very well and is not on a per device basis. Of course, having to enter an annoyingly meaningless password can never be fun.

Breakfast is alright. Fresh fruit, baked goods, cereals, eggs, meats, cheese. Cheap.

So really, you get what you pay for. What's wrong with it? There's not much around rue de Roquebiliere, except a grocery store, which is quite the saving grace. There are a couple of restaurants if you're up for a hike, but mostly avoidable.
