I have just got back from a 4 night 5 day stay at La Villa Nice! The location is fantastic - as finncat below says - it is straight forward to get to hotel from airport and is a minutes walk from the promenade!! there is a supermarket opposite also which is ideal if you need anything additional and as it is right on the front, is only a short walk to the old town of nice with plenty of bars and restaurants to pass on the way for drinks etc.
the staff are really friendly and are more than happy to help with boat trip bookings, directions etc.
I would certainly recommend getting the boat trip to st tropez and monaco as although the st tropez trip was 60 euro and the monaco 30 euro, it was definately worth while as they are both stunning places!!!
great place, great location and great holiday! defo worth a stay!

This hotel is located perfectly and is very stylish. The car parking FOC is a great asset and the rooms are very spacious, clean and modern. The only thing missing was a bar fridge however there is a supermarket right across the road which comes in handy. Stylish little gem in the heart of Nice! I loved the pink chairs and the chandeliers!

I stayed in La Villa Nice 3 nights. Because of the late arrival, I called the hotel to inform them. The night receptionist told me that there was no booking (in fact there was). When I checked in, he found out that I did have a booking. He was rather careless which didn't leave me a very good impression.

Nonetheless, the location was superb, a supermarket just right cross the street. It is very close to the seaside. Bus stops to old town and airport are also very short walking distance. There are nice restaurants and fast food places around the hotel too.

I had a standard double room, loved the decor but the bathroom was very small. The first day the cleaner forgot to make the room but came to tidy up immediately. When I checked out, I asked the receptionist to post my postcards. He said they had no this type of service but he can do it on the way home for me. He was kind however I was surprised to hear that.. I thought this is one of the basic front desk services to offer guests.

I didn't try the breakfast so cannot comment on it. The wifi was fast enough. There is a computer on the ground floor as well. Overall, it was a good hotel to stay.and I would love to go back again.

Booked this for a special trip and lived up to and exceeded all expectations. Oozing charm, this hotel sits just off Le Promenade Anglais in the most perfect place. From airport buy 4euro ticket from booth just outside T1 and board bus 98. Sit facing the front though so you can see the stops, pref on right hand side. Stop at Gambetta, cross the road and you are just off Rue St Phillipe...simple and cheap vs taxi at 36euro. Hotel amazing decor, staff welcoming, friendly and so helpful...very impressed. Pristine clean, slate floors black and grey theme. We booked a room with balcony which was amazing, loo a little on the small side, but hey - how many times do you go to that room?!!!! Breakfast 6e and 12e, sit outside and relax. Breakfast at 9e at Sporting Plage is a must for the views. Air con marvellous and quiet, very much appreciated when night time temps were 28 degrees. Excellent location on the prom to see virtually everything. A fabulous place to which I hope we will return very soon. A walk up Boulevard Victor Hugo (far end, no:15 ) to restaurant Aux 2 Palmiers (look for 2 large palms) was best decision ever...local restaurant, good prices, popular with locals so you know it's good! Supermarket just opposite for water, buy here as it's cheap but can reach 2euro 50 cents in some places...ripoff! Great cheap eateries on Boulevard Gambetta next street along for lunches/snacks. Not as expensive as some think if you look around. Trip by boat to Monaco well worth 34e each just for commentry and scenery, book at Quay Lunel.

Room Tip: Room 33 on 3rd floor excellent with balcony, looks like 2 rooms have the "prom view" perha...

We booked this 3 star hotel because it was close to the famous promenade.
The room was small but that's what you get in a city like this. Otherwise it was very clean, tidy and adequate for a short stay.
We were grateful for the air conditioning which is a must for Nice in the summer.
The outstanding feature of the hotel was the friendly staff who went out of their way to help. People like this will ensure future business. Well done.
Overall, this hotel is well worth a visit.

Executive room on top floor was spacious, good size bathroom, although limited clothes storage. Staff were particularly helpful, buffet breakfast is adequate, with lots of decent restuarants near to chose for lunch or dinner ,ie Le Crocodile. Close to Prom des Anglais. Safe parking is a bonus in Nice. Nor cheap but you get what you pay for.

Room Tip: ask for room facing courtyard not road
