We arrived at the Hotel Westminster for a three night stay over Valentines weekend. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We stayed in a junior suite with a sea view - the view was fantastic and the suite was amazing. We would 100% recommend this hotel - sea view is a must though!

I have just returned from a business trip to the Westminster, in fact my second such event held there. Most striking is the building itself: wonderful architecture with a fabulous dining room where one MUST admire the ceiling. The staff are very pleasant and helpful ( though there was a resource issue on the WiFi.. it was well handled without any french shrug of disinterest). While February the weather was kind. Walk left from the hotel along the promade and then head "inland" a few yards to the centre to explore. Walk right for a lenghty power walk into the sun. VERY pleasant after a days of meetings. An excellent experience.

Room Tip: forgo the front views for early morning silence.

This is a classic hotel greatly located on the boulevard across the beach. Due to its great location, we could easily walk to visit Nice's main attractions and reach the international airport by bus. The building is very classic and the rooms are comfortable enough with an amazing.bathtub. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

Room Tip: Top floors have a balcony and a nice sea view.

We stayed in this hotel for 2 nights for valentines weekend. The hotel is in a fab place close to the town and the beach just across the road.
The room we stayed in was on 1st floor and sea view facing, fantastic views out to sea. Room very clean and the bed very comfortable.
Day trip to Monaco, Monte Carlo is a must, The train station is about a 10 min walk from the hotel and for 2 person return journey cost 15 Euros and took about 20 mins once on the train. You can also take the bus which takes about an hour but has the scenic views along the coastline. Taxi from the airport cost 35 Euros, Check in was quick and hotel staff very pleasant.
If we was to visit Nice again we would stay here again :-)

We just stayed one night here when our flight was delayed... it's a clasic Hotel on the beachfront promenade. For the last-minute deal that we got it was more than fine.

Our room was freshly decorated, with a huge bathroom and separate toilet. There was free Wifi, although you'll have to specifically ask for the code at the reception.

The room that we got on the first floor (facing backwards) was a bit loud - both due to rattling caused by wind and rain outside, and some kind of "personel" room next door, where the hotel staff seemed to congregate and chat in the morning.

However, all our problems were address quickly and in a friendly manner and all the staff that we interacted with was all right.

The location is, obviously, perfect, being both on the promenade and very close to the city center. There's also an airport bus stop just a hundred metres down the street.

I would stay again.

This hotel offers good service, has outstanding rooms with very nice sea view. The reception and the service people are very friendly and competent.
If you like a good breakfast in the morning with nearly everything the go and enjoy the buffet. Otherwise go outside and have a cup of tea or coffee and a croissant.

Room Tip: Choose one with sea view from 3rd floor upwards.

A fabulous website led us to the Westminster. It enjoys great position on Promenade des Anglais, but there are no public spaces in the hotel. The foyer and reception are tiny and nowhere to sit. Reception staff pleasant enough, but we had booked for dinner for a large group outside on the terrace and had to have a long argument to stop being moved inside. The guy who seemed to be ahead of F& B was domineering and painful. Junior waitstaff delightful though. Breakfast disappointing for a 4 star hotel, in fact I would rate the breakfast 2 star. Most waitstaff at breakfast ( other than fabulous Sicilian girl from Ragusa ) were aloof and bored. Coffee ordinary. Hotel seems to be owned by absentee owners and just needs some love, maintenance and care. There are better options nearby with equivalent view.

Room Tip: Pay extra for a sea view.
