My wife and I stayed here twice on the beginning and end of a side trip to Arles(13-16 July, 22-24 July 2013). The staff could not have been more helpful in every aspect. They responded to every request we had and could not have made our stay any more comfortable. It is right across the street from the beach and had one block access to get to the old town of Nice. Many great resturants are nearby and access to the tram for city exploring is just a couple of blocks away. If you enjoy a glass of wine before venturing out for dinner, there is a wine shope just behind the hotel next to the olive oil store. Bring it back to the hotel and enjoy in their small bar area. They will store it for you for nightly enjoyment. Would recommend this hotel for any length of stay. Again, the staff go out of their way to make you happy. We will be back!

Room Tip: Rooms facing the beach have a great view and you would think that the road in front of the hotel would generate noise. The sound proofing is great.

This hotel really made the short stop over in Nice all that much better for us. Our room had French doors opening onto a small deck facing the beach in Nice, and the view really made it all worth while. The location right on the main drag through Nice old town couldn't have been better. Everything we wanted to see was within walking distance.

The hotel room was fine - clean, bright and nice decor. It was a little small, but not unexpected. That view and deck made up for anything. The staff was friendly, though the breakfast was a bit pricey at €15 for "Continental" buffet.

We took a lot of time selecting this hotel, worrying about which French Riviera city to base in, and where to stay in that city. We were very happy with our choice! This small beautique hotel has small but comfortable rooms, and a very friendly staff. Our room was nothing fancy and a bit dated, but very clean. The small bathroom was very bright and very clean. Our room had a balcony that dirctly faced the sea The room was not one that we would "hang out" in. We were gone so much we are not sure if was worth the extra money for the room with the view of the sea.

The hotel is located right on the sea prominade, yet one short block to the flower area of old town. This area has many restaurants very close by, and lots of ambiance. We loved walking around the old town area, while still being right by the prominade. The hotel is also only a few block walk to the tram system, which took us to the train station and quick access to other towns along the sea.

We liked Nice as a base for our stay, because it is large enough to have plenty to do, has many very good placed to eat, and has easy access to other French Riviera towns. If returning, we would stay in Nice again, and definitely stay at the Mercure Nice Marche Aux Fleurs.

Room Tip: Rooms overlooking the sea have a direct view of the water, but the additional cost may not be worth it if you are touring the area most of the time.

My husband and I had accommodation booked with a different hotel and when we arrived it had been double booked. So we turned up the the Mecure desperate and on the day of Tour De France time trial (crazy busy). They had a room available and at a decent price and it was great. I would highly recommend this place for its location also. Very short distance to old town and right in the promenade.

Great hotel, large enough but not too large to be impersonal. Very helpful and friendly staff. Room was clean, beds comfortable and very quiet so a good nights sleep guaranteed. Tea and coffee making facilities were much appreciated.
Everything you could wish for in the room and Wifi worked very well indeed.
Only 20 minutes by bus from Nice airport. Once there a very convenient location for the sea and old town. Many restaurants to choose from only a block away. Would definitely come again.
