We returned to Le Grimaldi for another wonderful week in March, 2014. We prefer a superior room on Rue Maccarani as it is quieter than Rue Grimaldi. The superior room has exposure on the street and courtyard, includes a day bed, large bath with separate tub and shower, as well as separate toilet room. The concierge staff has always been helpful and is now under the leadership of a very capable new directrice, Helene Rougevin-Baville. The hotel is a short walk to the "pieton", Rue Messena, Promenade des Anglais, and Av. Jean Medecin. Rates are very reasonable at this time of year and specials include breakfast and other amenities. We have stayed at many of the larger hotels along the sea and prefer the personal attention provided at this boutique hotel.
