Although go for a garden view room as the road facing rooms are a bit noisy.
Room modern, clean, decent size. Good location just 10 mins walk from Nice town centre. Lovely garden to relax in. Very helpful staff.

The hotel looked tired as if it needed a good carpet clean and a lick of paint. Our room was smaller than expected. I was expecting a modern room (I kind of had the pictures in my head that are on the website), however the bathroom was small and cramped. Luckily I am not a big person but anyone of a bigger size, a man perhaps, would struggle to get between the protruding sink and the toilet! The bathroom was very chinzy and old fashioned.
The bed wasn’t particularly comfortable and the pillows hard. The air con was nothing more than a fan.
The lobby was cluttered with childrens toys. No room service which was a shame considering we arrived very late.
On the plus side, even though we were facing the road, it was quiet and the night porter was very friendly and helpful in telling us of places that might be open for food.

We had 3 nights here for the Monaco Grand Prix. Easy access to the station. Off road parking was available. Room was small but had tea and coffee making facilities which is always am unexpected bonus in France. The room was small but totally adequate. Breakfast is basic, normal selection of pastries etc, unfortunately fruit was tinned not fresh and nothing cooked although you can boil your own eggs. The real plus is the beautiful garden. wow! what a perfect setting for breakfast. The hotel is easy walking to many restaurants and the sea front and about 20 minutes to the bustling market areas. I would definitely stay here again

Room Tip: ask for a room overlooking the lovely garden

I was hoping for a quiet place with a bit of old world charm and that’s what we got. The location is good. It is more or less equal distance from the sea and the main train station (about 500 m in opposite directions), which is convenient if you travel by train. The room was comfortable though perhaps not outstanding, but it provided everything that was needed. A very nice courtyard where breakfast is served (eating it in this garden is certainly very relaxing and helps to set a good mood for the rest of the day). Overall, this hotel seems to fit Nice and its character very well.

We have just returned from a lovely few days in Nice staying at the Victoria.
Having read the reviews & viewing the photos, I can say that they are accurate in all aspects.
The hotel is very well placed for accessing all areas, spotlessly clean & the staff could Not do enough for you. What more could you ask for!
We would have no hesitation in staying here again.

Room Tip: Over looking the garden.

Good location, lovely staff and beautiful garden.

Breakfast was sufficient and the rooms were clean and of reasonable size.

Easy walk to the beach with Old Town and Port Nice not far away.

Would stay again

We recently spent a few days at Hotel Villa Victoria. It is on a quiet street and close to good restaurants and the main tourist areas. The bus to the Matisse and Chagall museums is a short distance as well.
We had a suite facing the terrace, so we had quiet after busy days seeing the sights. The room was large so we had room.....and the bed comfortable. The bathroom had a rather deep tub. We would have preferred a shower, but that was minor.
If you are looking for something posh, this isn't it. It is however, clean and well taken care of. The staff was always there to give advice, make reservations, etc. We had a very early flight and they had breakfast set out for us, which was appreciated. The breakfasts were buffet and had more than enough choices to make them a pleasant and nutritious start to the day.
We enjoyed being a bit away from the tourist areas, but yet close enough to enjoy walking or easily boarding a bus.
Since we don't spend time in a hotel room, it was more than adequate and it was nice to unwind on the terrace with the resident cat after a long day.

Room Tip: choose a room facing the terrace. Our suite was on the ground floor which we enjoyed after staying...
