Villa saint exupery beach was a clearly well organized hostel. There are so many day trips they can help you organize, cheap dinner options and happy hour. The staff are friendly, good location so you can walk to shops, restaurants and the beach. We stayed in the 8 bed which has the bathroom separate to the room (I think it is listed as shared facilities but it is signed as being for use by our room only) on a couple mornings it was a bit frustrating as guests from the 16bed right next door use this bathroom when there's was full, so one suggestion would possibly pick a room with ensuite facilities. The actually 100% free tour with James is great and really was a great way to meet other people and have a good walk around Nice. Would recommend (& in fact have to many fellow travelers)

Had an amazing time at this hostel. Bar was good, easy to meet people, cheap drinks and had a good happy hour. Bar location was away from the rooms too so if you wanted a night in you could actually sleep without noise. Breakfast was sweet good selection of cereal. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Great Location 5 mins walk from beach and nightlife. Rooms were tidy and clean, bathrooms were good. No complaints about his hostel would definitely stay there again and definitely recommend it to others!

Incredible hostel to stay at! The beds are incredibly confy and the staff makes sure that the rooms and the bathrooms are sparkling clean. You HAVE to do the free, no tips, walking tour with James! He's an amazing guide and that's the best way to meet some new people, like we did with two charming Canadian girls! Definately worth the price, I totally recommand it.

This was our first time we had stayed in a hostel. As we were a group of 20 lads aged 21-30 we weren't sure how we'd be received but the staff and the other hostel guests couldn't have been more sound. We arrived at 0150 and were promptly checked in by the staff. We then had a mad rush to get to the bar before it shut at 2am before heading out. To clear our heads on the Saturday morning we took the free walking tour with James. We're not the types to go around taking pictures of old buildings but as James was a good laugh we actually enjoyed it. He was informative and funny so it wasn't just the same old facts that you'd get on most tours. I'd recommend this to anyone. We were taken around the old town then up to a park overlooking the promenade which I'd recommend if you want a nice photo for your trip! Happy hour was from 6-7pm and the local beer was a euro a can for the duration of this. Checkout was no problem in the morning and even when we had checked out they let us chill out all day in the hostel until our train was due. Overall a great experience with some good people!

Awesome vibe, free walking tour with James was awesome, and really is free! He walked us to our next activity after the tour. Good healthy meals are on offer at night as well for €8. Free breakfast was decent with a wide range of cerals to choose from.
