Having spent the Carnival weekend in Nice we had a short walk from our hotel on the last day to find lunch before travelling back home.
We had been recommended this location from friends who had been last year.
Menu choices offered from Euro 11 for main course pasta/mussels etc.
Wine reasonably priced by glass / pitchet or bottle.
Nothing special but service / price & choice of food was OK

This place should not call itself a restaurant. Food average and service worse than disgraceful. If I can give you one tip for your trip to Nice, it is do NOT go here

We use very often a set menu because it offers a good choice and the price difference can be substantial compared to a la carte. This time the menu was a lot of the same. There were 4 mains and 3 of them were pasta. The mussels were nice and a big portion. There were 6 choices for desserts (3 of them were wafles). And for the other 3 was 1 not available anymore. They told us when we ordered it and noy when they gave us the menu. For a simple meal it's allright. The waiter was friendly and helpful.

We had dinner in this resto twice. This is the best place for children to eat. Plat and price are very reasonable. We didn't leave a piece on a plat.A chief cook is very talented. Le Temple Bar is a very good place with very welcome staff.

This isn't a gourmet stop, but it was our first experience with daube, which was excellent at the amazing price of 9 Euros per plate! The waiter spoke English as was quick and helpful. Overall a very good experience.
