A perfect place to experience the city life in Nice on our first visit. The food was so good and the service so tremendous that we went back 3 times in the week we were here! And on my next visit to Nice this will be the first place I eat! Food was always fresh, presented artfully. Damien was a perfect and personable host, even sharing his home made limoncello and sparkling rose with us. I will be back!

We had a lunch here with 8 people and it was very good. Waiter took good care of us and arranged us some more seats even when the restaurant was quite full.

As we stayed close to the restaurant we decided to try it. A warm welcome from the owner who entertained us the whole evening. We laughed alot. The food was excellent especially the goatcheese salad and some of us tried the foie gras which also was good.
The evening became a little more expensive than we had thought but it was worth it.

We enjoyed a warm welcome and were offered a kir provencale to drink while we decided on our food. Nice but naughty price at €13.
There is a blackboard menu (including an English version - some items a little tricky to understand, as the french is quite complex to start with) - selection of seafood, fish, meat and vegetable options. All very interesting but none simple. We chose shrimp and avocado tartare for starter, quite a sizeable plateful and very nice. J skipped main and went for a dessert. I had john dory, which was nice but if I had to be picky, was lacking in salt.
nice atmosphere and all the dishes being served looked delicious if a little over elaborated (for our taste). Paid quite a bit for a large (500 mil ) half bottle of Sancerre and paid €100 in total for the dinner.

Away from the tourists, filled with locals, comfortable interior, welcoming staff. Traditional, old school French cuisine but with imagination and modern touches. Menu changes monthly. Affordable lunch menu plus a 28 euro evening menu. Good deals! We ordered a la carte, also moderately priced. Entrees were fresh and beautifully plated, not overly large. Mains of duck breast and fish were expertly cooked....flaky, translucent fish and medium rare duck. Sides of mashed potatoes and zucchini very good, too. Eclectic wine list featuring a high end page plus more pedestrian offerings. Desserts looked appealing but we opted to share an isle flottant. The best ever. The kitchen knows it's stuff. My one complaint...maybe service was a bit too swift, longer pauses would have been nice. Wait staff very professional and there's magic!
The maitre d' is very entertaining! Complimentary digestif and we were on our way. Lovely evening in comfortable surroundings.
