We visited In Vino three times after stumbling across this hidden gem down a quiet little side street in the Old Town. The staff were extremely friendly and made us feel comfortable straight away and they were able to advise us on what wines to choose from their large wine list. The food was fresh, delicious and wonderfully presented- we especially enjoyed the scallop and chorizo risotto. A definite place to eat when visiting Nice.

My wife and I dined there last night and had a fantastic exprience. It is a fantastic spot on a quiet street in Old Town, if gives you that french aummer european feel you crave.

Good was great and reasonably priced. The wait staff were great also, not because they were accomodating but they also spoke english.

It was a great dinning exprience ans would recommend it to anyone.

This was our second year on holiday in Nice and we could not wait to return to In Vino for their wonderful food, wine, service and atmosphere. Needless to say In Vino super-seeded all of our expectations. In Vino's hospitality and warm welcome make you feel instantly at home.
We really enjoyed the Spanish Ham and variety of cheese boards for starters with the bonus of being very reasonably priced for the quality of the food. The steak main course was delicious and enjoyed the variety of accompaniments served on different nights ( we ate here 5 out of the 8 nights that we stayed in Nice). The duck was served by special request (by us) one evening and we were extremely impressed with this nights dining.
We also visited the new In Vino Port restaurant where we had the pleasure of experiencing Jean's excellent culinary skills again - a master chef. Steaks were simply perfect and the chocolate fondant was out of this world.
On our final night, the vegetarian special was delightful and thoroughly appreciated
Recommendations of wine by Fabien, Arthur and Damien at In Vino and by Julien and Lulu at In Vino Port were fantastic and the occasional glass of champagne went down a treat!!
Thank you to everyone at In Vino restaurants for yet another wonderful holiday dining experience, see you in 2014! Cola and Grace et al (Irlanda)

I had the Iberico de bellota for the second time here. This time the Iberico ham was divided into two: Pata Negra and some other Iberico de bellota. The other one was very oily as Pata Negra should be and the other was less oily but less chewy which is a good thing. But both were excellent as one would expect for the price (18 €). For the main, I had risotto with scallops and chorizo (16 €). I hoped for a lighter dish, but there was more chorizo than scallops and it got a bit boring and heavy at the end. Still not bad cooking at all. We also had gaspacho (fresh and good, 9,50 €) and tuna cooked on one side (excellent, 19 €). Eau gazeuse was 5,50 € and glasses of ok wine 4 € per glass. In Vino is at a very central location and a solid choice even if the price quality ratio is not the best one in Nice.

We were a large group with both kids and adults and everyone was left happy. Started with fantastic service (which was maintained throughout), followed by equally good food and wine and completed by lovely ambiance sitting outdoors. Restaurant is very much recommended!
