We recently decided to have a few days in Nice and experience more of what was on offer other than just the airport! - What a gem, I had opted for self-catering and struck lucky again with another gem. Our apartment was a delight, modern with all mod cons, high ceilings, sunny with a city balcony perfect for an early evening tipple before taking in the amazing restaurant options of this lovely city. In addition to great dining experiences , the public transport system is brilliant providing full and easy access to the city museums and parks shopping, beaches but also for day trips along the Cote D Azure, would highly recommend both Nice and this apartment - 6 euros on the bus from the airport and I was unpacking in the heart of Nice followed by a 10 minute walk and we were on the beach. Would not hesitate to return.
Coming home to this rental is just like coming to your own home....every convenience in the kitchen, quiet efficient a/c, and simply a pleasure to stay in. Everything in town seems only minutes away. Great restaurants and shopping just out the door. The whole place is spotless and tastefully furnished. We will definitely stay here again when we are back in Nice.
After visiting Nice on a couple of occasions My partner & I have found the perfect rental. Beautifully appointed, fresh and bright this attractive apartment has everything we need. Spacious bathroom, great shower! Love the balcony off the bedroom, ideal for people watching. Comfortable lounge and very cleverly designed kitchen with all mod cons!
The location is perfect for the beach....5/10 mins, transport to major locations, all within easy walking distance. Loved it and wii be delighted to be going back again this year.
A block or two away from the beach, and the famous Negresco hotel, location of this stylish apartment in Nice Carre d'Or is one of its most attractive features. Nice Ville train station is well within walking distance in the opposite direction to the beach, allowing for day trips to places like Antibes, Juan les Pins, Cannes, Villefranche sur Mer, Monaco, Menton, and even the Italian Riviera.
Closer to home, we found we could easily walk to Place Massena, Nice Old Town, the famous Cours Saleya flower market, and over Nice Chateau to the Port where there are boat excursions to Saint Tropez, Monaco, etc. and ferry crossings to Corsica and Sardinia.
The apartment itself has all modern conveniences: Powerful air-conditioning, modern bathroom, HD cable-connected television, high-speed Internet, a variety of coffee machines and other kitchen appliances. A south-facing balcony looks out across bustling Rue Marechal Joffre with close proximity to supermarket, shops, bakeries, restaurants, etc.
We'll visit again!
