I have been to this resaurant on a number of occassions as we have always been well received by a wonderful Australian girl, who really made us feel special, the food was good and her reccomendations of wine never let us down.
During our last visit to Nice as per usual we ventured to Boros and were both utterley dissapointed.
The food was mediocre apparently it was the chefs day off the presentation was limit grotesque!, we were received coldly, the service was bad and the patron was a bit too much, obviously overdoing it once we asked the whereabouts of our favourite serveuse (who by the way is no longer working there)

It's a shame but that experience was enough to put my wife and I off.
We found another little restaurant the same style of cuisine just around the corner.

May your eating experiences be better than ours!

This a small family owned restaurant featuring Greek/Lebanese/Middle Eastern cuisine. I sampled their osso bucco "plat du jour" (lunch special for 9 euros in November 2007) and my husband enjoyed their hearty sampler platter wth rolled grape leaves, meats, etc. for lunch. The tasty, home cooked, lovingly prepared food was wonderful and so reasonably priced! Get out of the touristy areas and give it a try-- it is well worth the detour. Our hotel recommended the place to us and we were not dissapointed. There is a market next door which also sells various specialty foods/groceries from the region too. The restaurant is located at 4, Rue Dalpozzo, between Rue de France and Rue de La Buffa which both run parallel to the Promenade des Anglais. It is open for dinner too!
