I loved the place; it was cozy and the owners were really nice. The food was exceptionally tasty: i enjoyed my meat and pain perdu. It's the first restaurant we actually enjoyed in Nice!!

Went here first night we arrived in Nice - very friendly staff. Food is very reasonably priced. We also had small appetisers and a small dessert which were free. Definitely a place to revisit - highly recommend.

We found this restaurant via trip advisor and went for dinner. Have to say the rating is spot on- the service and food were impeccable. Both waitresses spoke very good English and the chef even popped out a few times to say hello. A dinner including an appetiser, main and dessert went for 45 euros. Mains were 21-26 euros, entrées 11-18 euros, desserts 12 euros and cheese was 8 euros.

We received free appetisers minutesutes after arrival (a plate of melon, sausage, radish etc) and the bread they served was particularly nice. The menu I must say is very short but changes every ten days and is dependent on season- we had a fish, meat and vegetarian dish to choose from. Our starters were quite good- a zingy gaspacho (sp?), a warm bruschetta and melon terrine with ham (prosciutto). All were delicious. I had the fish (sea bass) served with zucchini done three ways. The fish was filleted and the skin was wonderfully crisp. A vegerarian risotto had wonderful depth of flavour and was a generous serve. Roast beef was served with a medley of vegetables and a lovely jus.

Three of us ordered dessert but in between we received some fresh, house made toffee popcorn and little airated coconut mousses topped with rasbperry coulis and peanuts. Both were divine. The dessert we picked was French Toast with apples and house made toffee ice cream- went down a real treat. The apples were cooked perfectly with just enough bite. For people used to milk coffees, they used fresh milk in the one here and it was very good!

We booked restaurants for every night, but one night. Asked concierge to recommend somewhere and he recommended this place. As foodies, we didn't know if we would like it, but it far surpassed our expectations. Loved it! The restaurant is very pretty, the staff is so personable, and the food was phenomenal. I would surely go back if ever in Nice again. I highly recommend it. Great restaurant that all will love!

Luc and his wife have created a charming restaurant entirely focused on food and wines from the region. The cooking is impeccable, the wine list interesting (a lot of regional wines I`d never heard about). Since the region`s wines lack the typical Bordeaux/Burgundy "snob factor" you can get some truly awesome bottles by going to the high end of the list (which tops out at around 70 Euros). The restaurant is a little tricky to find, it`s not on any of the "main drags", which adds to its attraction in our opinion. Only a few tables, reservations clearly essential, and not the most charming venue, but this is more than compensated by the enthusiastic and friendly service, including Luc himself pottering about among the guests during the course of the evening.
