Where do we start? Joel, the owner of this delightful place, is a wonderful host. Very welcoming, knowledgeable and provides the most fantastic breakfast. It starts at 9AM prompt outside by the pool and can last for up to 3 hours, should you so wish, with great converstaion and the most varied of food that just keeps coming! We stayed for five days and so wished it was longer, the room was very clean and well presented. The pool and terrace were immaculate. We met some delightful people from Belgium and will be back next year, for sure! Mougin village is close by and has excellent restaurants, with spectacular views. A must for a quiet relaxing holiday, in a wonderful setting.

A beautiful house not far from Mougin Village. Nice setting and a beautiful room. But the main asset here is the breakfast table - I have never seen anything like it. We're not normally eating a lot for brekfast - a continental type of breakfast is quite Ok with us, but that was out of the question here. The charming host, Joel, made it clear that if we didn't eat enough of his cakes, fruits, charcuterie and cheeses, he would double the room price! :) When we relaxed by the pool in the afternoon, Joel came around with icecream to cool us down. Le Mas de Mougins is different - an experience we wont forget!

If you want a different sort of B & B that will remain in your thoughts forever then you have to go here!! The room was pleasent and clean but forget that as its the mornings are the part of your stay which you will never forget. Our host was a most charming and pleasent man who will serenade you with a cresendo of food that starts in a small way and let's bigger and bigger with an array of home made foods that will as astound yo and tantalise your taste buds. Have stayed in many places but this is a cut above the rest. Loved it!!!!!

I visited Le Mas de Mougins with 5 other women while touring the south of France. I'm not sure how we stumbled on this gem but how delighted we were to discover this charm. Joel, the proprietor and his wife Sonia were delightful and most accomodating. The breakfast every morning poolside is a fabulous treat you do not want to miss. The food just keeps coming and coming. Fresh fruit, juices, cheese, meats and all kinds of freshly made pastries, breakfast casseroles and cakes. It is truly amazing. I cannot say enough nice things about Le Mas de Mougins. The rooms are nicely sized, very comfortable and well appointed and the A/C works great. The location is near lots of attractions you do not want to miss. We had problems with a 5 star hotel on this trip but no problems whatsoever with Le Mas de Mougins. I cannot say enough good things about our stay. Definitely a hands up!

We had the pleasure of staying here for 10 nights and wished we could have stayed longer. It was a truly relaxing experiance, very comfortable air conditioned large room and ensuite bathroom, decorated very nicely in french 'shabby chic' style with the additional benefit of a small private terrace. Joel & Sonia are excellent hosts, Sonia's contributions to the wonderful daily breakfasts were delicious and Joel works hard at ensuring everyones needs are met and is very sociable. Some may not, but we thoroughly enjoyed sharing the breakfast table with friendly strangers of various nationalities, Italians, Americans, Germans and of course, French....thankfully their English was far better than our attempts at their languages. We also fell in love with Fetische, la petite chien, adorable. We have had the pleasure of holidaying in Mougins for a number of years staying in a private villa and Les Mas Candille but this is the place we shall return to......I only worry that this lovely B&B, which rightly deserves the excellent reviews it receives, will be fully booked!

More like a small hotel than what we in Britain would know as a B&B. We have always stayed in luxury hotels so was apprehensive - I didn't need to be. As everyone says great breakfasts beside the pool. A warm and friendly atmosphere form the owners Joel, Sonia and their family. We spent more days by the pool than we had intended - thinking we would go to the beach each day, but it was so relaxing and peaceful to just be there. Joel would bring us out a treat every afternoon - ice creams etc. The place is clean and comfortable, typical "shabby chic" French decor in all the rooms. The suite is beautiful with a beautiful terrace - we looked in on changeover day, all the other rooms were alike, but very nice, simple but elegant French decor, a fridge and a safe in every room. We spent 9 nights there and were sad to leave and will definitely go back. It was my first trip to Mougins, a pretty village for art lovers, with some good restaurants and Cannes is close for more lively nights if that's what you want.

Room Tip: If you can spend the extra the suite is beautiful.
