The apartment is well located in the old town of Menton with lovely views of the bay and harbour. It is near to shops and restaurants, and not far to the station or buses to see more of the lovely coast line.
The apartment has lots of space, with a well equipped kitchen and large bathroom.
I would definitely recommend it for a comfy and convenient stay.
One point to mention is that the steps up to the first floor are a bit steep.
Menton is a beautiful town on the border with Italy just two hours flight from the UK (plus 40 mins transfer from Nice). There's a strong French / Italian mix here in food, people and architecture. The apartment is perfectly located for beaches and lovely town. We walked 1.5 miles to Italian border to see the caves and small museum. The beach immediately next to the apartment is being developed but we weren't affected by it as the beach is still open and great, safe swimming for young children. There's no a/c at the apartment and temperatures are up to 31C but the old buildings are close and they were designed to allow cool air to flow through so it still feels cool and we can give ourselves some environmental creds too. First four days here have been loved by the whole family. The apartment is lovely with all the things you need for self-catering with kids (good kitchen, WiFi, TV, Dvd etc). Loved the cupboard with little beach extras especially beach trolley - awesome. We replaced the sun shade though. We got the train from Nice to Menton for 6 Euros but it was busy and a bit difficult with bags. Probably fine for couple but challenging in high season with children. The taxi from the station in Menton to the apartment was 15 Euros. There wasn't any Uber in Menton so the rates were a bit high. We didn't hire a car and plan to catch the train for the Italian market in Ventimiglio on Friday. We've been told Monaco is good to visit and there's a public pool at the seafront. Really great so far and plenty more to do.
We spent 10 days in the apartment in July 2017. The apartment is large and spacious with a stunning view toward the beach. Our hosts Nicola and Nuwan did a great job in providing us with information on arrival and departure. The apartment is well equipped and clean. Most of the rooms have high and vaulted ceilings giving it a spacious feeling. The patio over the street out back is unique and we spent all our breakfasts and evenings there. The patio is not very private as the neighbour's have their windows facing it. With the exception of one neighbour, they treated us nicely. There is no air conditioning in the apartment so you do need to decide between keeping the windows open at night and sleeping with the noise from the road and beach at night or keep them shut and deal wit the heat. The beach in front of the apartment is being rebuilt this Summer so expect a bit of noise during the day while this ongoing.
This is a wonderful apartment with an ideal location, near the beaches, shops , market, restaurants.

We had a lovely few days in this beautiful apartment which exceeded our expectations. We particularly enjoyed the high ceilings, the beautiful views, the balcony and the wonderful situation. I was amazed how all the houses in the old town were built into the side of the hill…
Had very pleasant family stay. Good three bedroom apartment. Situated around 200-300 metres back from seafront with views overlooking marina and about 15-20minutes walk to town centre. Nearest rail station only 150 metres
fabulous place in the old town. Very close to the fresh food market and beaches. Easy to get too and a very big flat with a fantastic view.
