We stayed here for 2 nights recently and thoroughly enjoyed every aspect of all that La Petite Maison has to offer. All the other reviewers are spot on with their reviews. Beatrice is a wonderful hostess who is warm, friendly, imformative and helpful. It is situated in the old town and is 2 mins from the bars and restauarnts.
The apartment is beautifully decorated with light cool colours. The bed is super comfy. There is constant hot water. Toiletries are supplied and plentiful. The photos on the website are a true reflection of the well appointed apartment/rooms.
Breakfast is served in the courtyard (weather permitting) and is a luscious affair with croissants, rolls, fruit, yoghurts, cereals, jams, conserves and tea or coffee. All served in the most delightful bone china crockery. The courtyard is an eclectic mix of plants and pots and ornaments and don't forget that gorgeous ginger cat that is inevitably curled up somewhere.
We loved the location, the apartment, Beatrice, the cats and the breakfast. But most all we loved the relaxed, chilled out feel that Beatrice has managed to create in this little oasis in the middle of the old town. It's like something out of a magazine!
We intend to return as soon as we can and will defiantly stay at La Petite Maison.
Menton old town is a lovely buzzy sort of place and suited us just fine. There are lots of wonderful restauarnts and bars. There's a nice beach if you like beaches and a very interesting modern contempory art place right on the waterfront.
We also liked the fact that wherever we went nothing was in English. So as much as there is tourism here, they haven't (places that we went) gone down this route of multiple language menus. Which was king of nice.
Unfortunately I had a broken ankle and was on crutches, so next time we visit I am looking forward to walking up to the church and the cemetery and just enjoying more of Menton that I couldn't do on this trip.

Total cost for 2 nights Bed and Breakfast was 220 euros and worth every cent.

Thanks Beatrice for making our first trip to France so memorable. Your a star.

Room Tip: We had the one with the double bed and the bath. It was wonderful.

We had a relaxing stay of 3 nights in Menton after a short week over in Paris, and we could not have chosen a better suited place than La Petit Maison with its beatiful host and owner Beatrice.
Spacious rooms and nice interior, good and clean bathrooms, and wonderful breakfast in the quiet backyard. It is also located in a peaceful side street close to the picturesque old town of Menton.

My husband and I had a lovely 12 night stay at La Petite Maison. The room was lovely, Beatrice is so accommodating, providing tips for restaurants, gardens and offering to put drinks in her fridge if we wanted. It is so conveniently located, right in the old town with the beach, bars and restaurants right on your doorstep. I hope we get to return one day, we absolutely loved it!

We enjoyed our stay at La Petite Maison which is in a perfect location for the many restaurants, bars and shops. Breakfast taken in the garden was lovely during a very hot week. Beatrice was so helpful with booking taxis for us and recommending restaurants for us to try. We were made to feel very welcome and when we left she gave us a small gift for our silver wedding anniversary and my parents golden anniversary which we were celebrating whilst we were there.
A small fridge in the units would have been of great benefit especially during the hot weather it was difficult to keep the drinks cool. Otherwise this bed and breakfast is full of charm and you really feel you are experiencing 'real france'! Thank you Beatrice

Room Tip: Room with the shower felt more private

La Petite Maison lived up to all the reviews and our expectations. Beatrice is very welcoming without being intrusive and nothing is too much trouble. If we go to Menton again this is where we will stay.
Beatrice recommended several restaurants of which we tried 3 and they were excellent.
Centrally located in the old quarter and walking distance to everything.

Try restaurant Cote Sud.
